The lady working behind the counter was bilingual. She spoke Cantonese and English very well. I got a hot tea with milk and a raisin twist. It was not expensive. Just $ 1.80 for both items. There are a handful of tables, and it was open in twenty degree temperature. I thought both items were well worth it.

Delicious and CHEAP pastries and beverages. The fruit ices (my favorite is Lychee) are perfect for a hot summer day. The Coconut buns are out of this world, and the red bean buns are some of the best I’ve had in the neighborhood. I moved back to Manhattan from Sunset Park 9 months ago and still make a point of trekking down there and stocking up on pastries whenever I can. Don’t miss this gem!
