Fishnet

This place used to be awesome, it has fallen off. I was quite disappointed the other day, ordered some salmon and bones were throughout the meat. The wait is ridiculous and the staff is downright rude. Used to eat there a few months back and had nothing but good things to say… now the quality isn’t as good and the staff feels like they can suck their teeth and roll their eyes at customers. I won’t be going back, searching for another seafood place nearby. Bad thing is i spent on average $ 60 every time i went, you lost that revenue now. STEP YOUR SERVICE UP, LOWER THE PRICES, AND TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY ARE THE ONES PAYING THE BILLS, BECAUSE WE ARE!!!

The first time I went I said very nice establishment. The owner was pleasant. The second time owner was not present. I went they took my money and never gave the cook the order. Very unprofessional! My friend went and she really likes the place, but same thing happened to her. I was there. The guy takes the money first then tells her after waiting thirty minutes he don’t have the fish. She was like why u didn’t tell me. He said he would of if he knew. I asked if they have shrimps. He says they have to send out .With an attitude. They have good food but the workers are cocky and unprofessional.

Pros:
— Perfect crunchy, tasty breading on my two piece fried fish between two slices of whole wheat. I’ve been on a roll with breading lately…
— Clean & didn’t smell like a Asian fish market.
— The cook was funny.
Cons:
— Didn’t see a restroom for customers.

Unfortunately I have to rate this place one star. I just had salmon fillet with rice and it tastes ok in the beginning may be cuz I was so hungry but then I felt sick. The food was so oily. The customer service is very bad as well ! I will never repeat this mistake again !

The food is definitely great! Portion wise and taste wise! They lost two stars because of the lack of customer service. Ugh the guy who cooks and answers the phone is rude. They need someone better who answers the phone and works the register. The man is a complete asshole. Even when you be polite say «please, thank you, etc». It seems like he’s being forced to be there. I almost want to drag him out and yell go home. Anyway the food is good! I just don’t know if it’s worth putting up with his shitty attitude some days.

When I can’t get to a red lobster out of NY, I make the local stop here for Hot&Spicy Crab legs and shrimp. The food is GREAT! The balding black stocky man who claims to own the place leaves a very nasty taste in your mouth with his attitude, opinions, and customer service. But pay him no mind. Misery LUVS company. Order your food and wait outside for your food. It takes a good 15 – 20 mins but to not have to tolerate the miserable lil man its def worth it.

The food is great. However customer service sucks. They never answer the phone and they never want to deliver. Please improve on your customer service.

Just left this joint… Kids were with me. I had the 2 piece fish with shrimp, with rice and peas and fries for my kids. Like B4 I was given more food than I expected. Which is always good. Food was decent and best of all fresh. The only reason I took a star away was because they had no gravy for my rice. Other than that no complaints… I’m curious to try some of their grilled or broiled fish.

I love this place. Longwood has nothing on this place in terms of quality and the gigantic portions of fish and vegetables. Then, the seasoning is on point as they know what excites my taste buds. I am a fan. I will be there later for my grub!

Unfortunately I have to give this place low stars. The food was great, prices good, place clean. But the customer service sucks. I hate when you walk into business and they treat you like you are getting on their nerves by showing up and spending money. Half the time they don’t pick up their phone and when they do they are very rude and rush you off the phone. I called once to order delivery and before I could finish my sentence I was told call back in 20 minutes for delivery. I called back and then was put on hold for ten minutes, in the background all I could hear was loud music and other customers orders being taken, I eventually hung up when I overheard someone tell a customer that the whiting was gone. (That is the second time that has happened to me. How can you be 24 hours and you keep running out of one of your main menu items. The next option is 5.00 a piece!!! So the 2 piece fish sandwich goes from 2.99 to 10.00. That’s kind of outrageous if you ask me.) so I called back a 3^rd time hoping to order something and I’m told we are not doing delivery now. WTF!!! You wasted an hour and a half of my life with your terrible customer service. I want to become a regular of this establishment because I love seafood but we will see how it goes. Be warned the service is horrible!!!

Love this spot. food is always on point but be prepared to wait as the food is cooked on the spot. I suggest you order 20 mins before you go pick up! Enjoy!

Boy am I glad I can walk here whenever I want to. The food is well seasoned, and not too expensive. You actually can pay less than $ 10 per person. Roughly $ 15 unless your adding different things but there are specials. Tonight (Saturday night/​Sunday morning) they’re open until 6am– no typo! I called ahead, the guy working– Percy was VERY polite & showed great customer service. He took my order & we picked up. The steamed food we ordered was ready when we arrived & he threw the fried food in to cook so that it was hot and fresh. Makes sense! I had enough to chop my meal in two– so I’ll be heating it up with great joy tomorrow– well later. Even at two am– which was 3 due to DST, it was not empty in there. Great spot!!! There are some stools step up at a counter where u can eat but nothing fancy. Also a couple of tables. Their homemade lemonade is good too!!!

This place is the best around for me so far! You get what you ask for and how ever you want it. Grilled steamed fried how ever you get it guaranteed delicious! Great seasoning. Owner who keeps it real! !! Great Brooklyn fish joint!

Great flavor and perfectly fried fish. Big Porgie Fish with rice and peas for cheap. Ask about specials.
