Overpriced, bland, sweet American Chinese food. I haven’t tried their sushi. Their appetizers are good even though the entrees are not — dumplings, scallion pancakes, ribs, American-style egg rolls, and their Hung Sue Beef.

Great food. Customer service is excellent. Chicken and Brocolli is awesome as well. Go there hungry, portions are a nice size and the prices are fair.

Horrible food! Just ordered takeout– it was gross! Bland and filled with oil! The only reason I ordered was because the had AMAZINGFOOD! Even sushi! I call to find out they don’t have sushi anymore! Sad disappointment Fortune Cookie!

I really wanted to love this place. I really did. My boyfriend and I were looking for a Chinese takeout place and came across this one on Unilocal. They have a great menu and we went with orange chicken and sesame chicken with crab rangoons. My initial impression was great; the food was made fast, tasted amazing and had plenty of extra sauce(which is always a plus). However, I but down on a piece of chicken to find a large bone. Luckily, I did not choke or crack a tooth. Like I said, I really wanted to like this place but I can’t have large bones(or any bones) in my chicken! The search is still on for a great Chinese place around here.

First of all, this place portrays themselves as a higher end Chinese/Japanese restaurant. They are not by any means. The prices are about 30% higher than any other place in the area. I’m not sure if they raised the price because they can’t pay rent or not. Our family ordered take out one night due to the bad weather. The total comes out to 28 bucks. I hand the delivery guy 40 bucks. He stands there like a doofus. Hello? Can I have my change? When we open our bag of food, there are no forks or napkins. We ordered food for 4 people! It’s the little things that make an impression on me and so far they’re doing pretty bad. The food itself was pretty standard with the exception of all the canned chestnuts and canned mushrooms to our fried rice. Yung Chow fried rice doesn’t contain those items. How can you charge so much for food and not use fresh vegetables? Everything was bland and had the consistency of cat food. The noodles had the weird red dye all over it. The Egg Roll was too big and when I bit into it, made me disgusted. It had the consistency of cat puke. No crunch, everything was warm and mushy. Overall, stick to your local«hood» Chinese restaurant because they’ll probably be better. If this is local to you, I suggest driving 3 avenues in any direction to avoid this place. I give it two thumbs down. If I could grow two more arms, I’d give it four thumbs down. Bottom line: Overpriced, canned vegetables, cat food and cat puke consistency, with fake red dye all over your noodles.

My sister and I came here with a Groupon for all you can eat sushi. They were no longer taking the Groupon, as of the night before. That was annoying because the place was really far from the train. This was the first time I had been in such deep Brooklyn and it took quite a while to get there. That being said, the manager offered us the $ 13.00 all you can eat lunch with 15% off coupons, since we came all the way, we decided to just do it. We got the all you can eat lunch which is a great deal. We had fried tofu and edamame which were delicious. We also had avocado salad, which is literally iceberg lettuce and avocado, a bit disappointing but the ginger dressing was fabulous. We had about 6 different types of sushi rolls including cucumber and avocado, sweet potato, california roll. philadelphia roll and other veggie sushi. It really is a great deal for $ 13. It is all you can eat but they will charge you for leftover so make sure you come hungry. All in all, a great place, a little far for me to visit anytime soon but if you live close I recommend it.

My review is refer to their sushi. My friend recommended me there. This place is on 13th Ave. We went there on Sat a month ago. 4 adults and 2 kids. It was very quiet on a Saturday night. The sashimi wasn’t fresh. I tasted something really strange on my salmon sashimi. I couldn’t tell what was it at the beginning then I felt like the sushi chef sweat a lot of my sashimi. It was disgusting. I didn’t complain to them cuz I know I won’t be back again. P. S. I kicked my friend’s butt!

Cheap bargain sushi that isn’t terrible. Pretty quiet and small. Interior doesn’t have a lot going on– not much atmosphere. Maybe a little divey but we enjoyed our meal and the prices are pretty congruent with what is offered. Sometimes even cheaper. All you can eat sushi($ 18.99) is the way to go. Still haven’t tried the Chinese food. We had a Groupon which made it an extra good deal. Be aware that they will charge you for any leftover I eaten items. This policy might bother you but i like it.

I had so bad experience with this restaurant, I brought my 15month baby girl, and they charged her half price $ 18.99 for the dinner, OMG, I will never go there again, my baby girl didn’t eat anything. Please be aware of this when you bring your kids to this restaurant.

I went to the sushi part of the restaurant(at the left), and completely fell in love with the food! Everything was yummy! I ordered a All you can eat dinner. I could pick whatever I wanted from the menu~(Add $ 2 if you want an additional tempura ice cream. Totally worth it!) The makis were beautiful, and so original! There’s even crunchy sweet potato makis! And something with strawberries but I didn’t try that one: p(Maybe next time!) I’ll definitely come back soon!

Chicken, beef, pork, and noodles — yum yum yum! White rice, brown rice, fried rice — I’m not done! Everyone loves Chinese food, and every loves fortune cookies(unless you get some really weird fortune that says something like, «Order more Chinese food; you’ll be hungry later), then give this place a go if you’re in the area! This place is definitely priced as a great take-out spot; the inside service and décor I can not comment on since I’ve never eaten inside. The food on the other hand, is something worth talking about! Their roast pork lo mein is totally off the chain! I’m not sure if it was the mushrooms they added to it, or the sauce, but MAN it was tasty as could be! The portions are HUGE, just like most places, but it’s worth the slightly higher price point. Try the spring roll — it’s crispy, not as greasy, and a healthier pick over an egg roll any day.

This used to be a decent place. It is now total crap. Please do not waste your money here. I picked up a bunch of food deciding to give it one more chance and i was shocked by how bad it was. I wish it was good as i live nearby but its now garbage. They are fast and friendly but the food is terrible. Im sure they make some decent dishes but it has gone down hill. Shame

this place is horrible. don’t waste your money here. we order the 3 roll + soup or salad lunch special for $ 7.50 and one order of the chicken sesame chicken lunch special with egg roll for around $ 6.xx. before i review the food, the food took forever to come. we ordered at 218pm and the food got here at 345pm. the place was about a 1.3 miles away. all of the sushi rolls were super duper tiny!!! they barely had any rice and the rice was all hard!!! the rice was either undercooked or cold or something. not sure. all of the crunch from the tempura was all soggy. the sushi tasted old and wasn’t fresh at all. we got: spicy tuna with crunch — this roll was super small and the crunch wasn’t even crunchy! they barely gave any crunch! lack of rice/old rice. spicy salmon — fish did not taste fresh. lack of rice/old rice. roll was super tiny. shrimp tempura — tempura was all soggy. rice was old and roll was all cold/not fresh. roll was super tiny. chicken tempura — tempura was all soggy. rice was old and roll was all cold/not fresh. roll was super tiny. alaska — salmon was surprisingly okay. rice was old and roll was super tiny. eel avocado — eel was not fresh at all. roll was tiny and rice was old. egg roll — just okay. tasted like any normal egg roll except it was cold bc my good took forever to come! wonton soup — wontons are the typical chinese take out wontons. massive skin/dough and no meat. otherwise, was just what i expected. miso soup — okay. tasted how i imagined it would taste. nothing special. didn’t try the sesame chicken yet, but i’m not expecting much. also, we placed two orders on seamless. the first order they had the sushi lunch specials and the rice/noodle lunch specials. all of a sudden, when we placed the second order, the rice/noodle specials disappeared. not sure if it was a coincidence or not, but we got a stomachache afterwards.

I’ve never really enjoyed Fortune Cookie but it was close and cheaper than Chopstix. Basic ok chinese food. Then they got shut down for too many health violations and that was the end of that for me. I’m not a crazy«only eat at A restaurants» violation pansy but to be shut down, that’s pretty bad. Tommy still gets food from there sometimes since they reopened but now I’d rather pay the few extra bucks to get Chopstix.

I admit it, I’m a fan! I like you Fortune Cookie! I ordered take-out here several times and it was always pretty good. The fact that this is a larger establishment, more people order here, it’s always busy with orders going out and walk ins, which means the food is fresh! Lunch specials(Mon-Sat. 11am — 3pm) it includes a small size egg roll! Homemade duck sauce in the cup is sweeter and darker taste! Also ask for NOMSG when ordering, so you don’t get a headache later on!

This is the best Chinese food place in the area! They use quality ingredients and do not skimp on anything like many other places do. Because of the quality the prices are also a little higher than your typical place, but trust me is worth it! They just re-opened the restaurant area and now have sushi as well as traditional chinese schezuan. My favorite items are the steamed vegetable dumplings, which ae tremendous! Their grand mariner chicken/shrimp is to die for and their sesame shrimp is top quality(will also set you back almost 20 bucks for takeout for just that) It is family owned and they have been there for as long as i can remember, extrememly nice people! Highly recommended

For take out Chinese in Brooklyn, This is my favorite place. Its been on my corner since I was a little kid, and always loved the smell of its delicacies wafting down my street. My favorite has definitely got to be the boneless spare ribs, wonton soup, pork fried rice and the rest of the staple dishes. I have to give this place a shout out, I ordered from them last night.
