Frank’s guys were amazing! I needed a fast move and they were on time, courteous and wonderful. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Excellent service. Very professional which I appreciated. They took the time to wrap every breakable item and piece of furniture. My furniture was extremely hard to move because the stairway was narrow but they got every piece of item through there except one, which I wasn’t upset about because it was a huge chair. I will be moving again in 6 months and I plan on using their service. Great job guys!

We had a complicated move — moving my girlfriend out of her apartment, myself out of mine, and then taking all the stuff and unloading it at the new apartment we will both be living in (all within the Williamsburg/​East Williamsburg area).
We found Frank’s through Unilocal,and submitted a quick request through their website. They called within the hour and we got a quote of 2.5 hours to move both apartments into the third. I was very skeptical about the estimate (my girlfriend’s move by itself took almost four hours last time), but the rate was great and a team of four sounded great.
John and his crew were amazing.
They showed up at 8:37am at my girlfriend’s place, chatted with us a bit, and got straight to work. They had *all* the boxes out of her apartment by 8:50, and had the truck loaded with her stuff within 25 minutes. Our jaws were on the floor — we had to race to my apartment to beat them! My apartment took longer to move only because they had to wait for the elevator, but John’s team got the entire three-​stop job done in two hours and thirty six minutes: just six minutes over their estimate, and almost an hour an a half under what I assumed it’d take.
We were shocked and relieved. I’d definitely recommend John’s team again.

John’s Movers were amazing! Quick, friendly, professional and personable. Great guys who helped me out on short notice, very friendly, and answered all my questions and got the job done on New Years eve in less than 3 hours. Wonderful crew, would request them again!

I just moved within Jersey City last Friday during the evening. Spoke to Frank to setup the move and he was very responsive with all my questions. On the day of the move Jehangir and his team came in early to check out the contents of the apartment. They were very courteous and were very careful with the items. I had an Ikea bed that took a while to disassemble but Jehangir was patient and worked through to get the bed moved. Even though we went over the time limit by a bit, he didn’t charge us for the extra hour. Kudos to him and his team for making the move less stressful than it is normally. Definitely will use them again for future moves and highly recommend to others who are looking to move.

Just moved from Murray Hill to Williamsburg… this was a great move on all counts! professional and super careful with our belongings– couch and desk were very heavy!

Team Dilshod arrived on time and moved a full artist studio from Manhattan to New Jersey in four hours. Nice guys, considerate and reliable. And two men did the work of three!

Purchased a huge bed and needed to move it from Staten Island to Brooklyn, called Franks Express and was impressed how fast and safe the guys moved all the stuff. I am very satisfied with their work, they are professional. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and will use their service in future.

Personally, I had a great experience with Frank’s Moving when I moved to my new apartment in October. The guys were very professional and delivered any and all valuables without any damage. This company was a pleasure to work with because they are fast and have very reasonable prices compared to any other company that I have considered. I would definitely recommend them!

John and Fara were amazing. We finished in record timing and they were gracious enough to drive me and offer me water. It was also extremely affordable. We shared lots of laughs and I am definitely looking forward to working with them again in the near future.

Purchased a wardrobe from Craigslist and needed it moved during a certain time frame. Called Frank, submitted info and it was a done deal, they even paid for the item for me when they picked it up. That was very convenient.

The team is very professional. Setting up the move was easy and stressless as the team is well organized and very responsive. The move itself was very smooth. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning on moving!

If you don’t mind all of your things getting ruined and the company refusing to take any accountability then definitely use this moving company. I sent the following email to the company after my move after many unanswered attempts to get resolution and got no response. For purposes of full disclosure my furniture was moved from storage and was moved there by another more reputable and careful moving company that sadly didn’t have availability on my move day. Frank’s movers were very nice but didn’t protect and dragged much of my stuff causing much damage and since they didn’t move me into the storage unit refused to take responsibility — even for things like losing a piece of my expensive arch floor lamp that they definitely did.

I never heard back from you. As a courtesy, I am reaching out to you one more time before I file a complaint with the BBB and also submit negative reviews with photos on Unilocal,Yahoo, Google, and any other sites I find.
Below is a detailed list of the damage and I have also uploaded photos.
Queen mattress is extremely dirty from being dragged.
King mattress is also extremely dirty from being dragged and also has some tears
King size Leather bed frame has holes in some places and scrape/​dirt marks from being dragged
Sectional couch dirty and ripped in multiple places
Piece of metal frame for Arco Floor Lamp lost making it unusable
Glass Dining Table Top Chipped making it also unusable
Wood Desk Dented
2 Bar Stools Scratched
Additionally, I was charged $ 60 for a parking ticket that the movers got. It is not legal to pass these costs on to the consumer. Also they were not parked in an illegal spot. They were in a 3 hour commercial metered spots so I can only assume that they did not pay the meter and therefore got a parking ticket.
If I don’t hear back from you with details on how you plan to address this I will move forward with posting my reviews and filing my complaints.

The best movers I’ve used since living in the NYC area. John’s team of 3 men moved my 1bedroom within Jersey City in 2.5h. They wrapped my furniture better than it’s ever been wrapped and were extremely efficient. No complaints at all about the walk-​up — they leaped up the stairs with energy. To top it off the price was extremely low vs competitors. Also they were very accessible by phone and updated me with an accurate ETA. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat.

I just moved from the East Village to Westchester last Saturday after being in the city for 5 years. About 3 weeks before the move I started calling moving companies and all were too expensive or super sketchy, until I got in touch with Alex at Franks. Spoke to him on the phone for about 15 minutes and felt very comfortable after talking to him so I scheduled a move for Saturday.
John and his team of 3 others arrived on Saturday exactly on time. I quickly went through the apt to explain what was what and what was going where (we were actually moving to two separate places) and went over the price/​contract and then they started. When I say these guys are the fastest and most efficient human beings, I am not exaggerating. They were flying. Like I was in awe. And most importantly they had huge smiles the entire time and were super friendly. I never felt for one iota of a second that they were not on my side and trying to get me from A to B as quickly as possible.
They came with supplies to help wrap up our tvs, mirrors, and sensitive artwork. We moved a 2 bedroom to 2 separate places in Westchester in around 6 hours and good amount was travel time and the cost was very, very reasonable.
I really want to stress how nice John and his team were. They were so happy the entire time. To put it in perspective, right before they showed up I heard a truck pull in near the apt. I assumed it was them so I went downstairs to the truck to greet them, and it ended up being a different moving company for a different apt. The guys from that company in the truck were super rude and I could only imagine how miserable the move would have been with those guys, so it really puts in perspective how happy I am I got John and his team from Franks.
I’m going to cut my review off now because I’m starting to look like a weirdo, but honestly I will never use a different moving company when moving in NY. Im assuming all of the teams at Franks are good, but John and his team are certified awesome. So if you are currently researching a moving company, definitely check them out.

Although Alex needed to reschedule my move, it worked out in my favor. He communicated with me quickly over email. The «John Team» did an excellent job and carefully wrapped the stuff I requested in blankets. The crew was funny and nice and didn’t goof around. I have just recommended them to another friend and I will certainly use them again.

They were just awesome. They worked as fast as humanly possible, strong guys. They moved 2BR, 2 bath and lots of stuff and books in under 4 hours. Even the doorman was astonished how fast they flew by. Thanks to John and your wonderful crew: Far, Dil and Khushnud!!! And the price was right.

I was very antsy about my recent move: 14 years in a 1 bedroom with numerous pieces of furniture and @60 cartons (well 40 green boxes; I rented those from
from Groupon and I seriously recommend doing this made my move so efficient!)
The last moving company who moved me from Bklyn Hts to Bayridge were mediocre. So I go on Unilocal (my go to place) and perused moving companies. Well, I stumbled on Franks Movers with numerous 5 star reviews so I took a chance and hired them. Everything that was written about them was 100% true: professional, on time and treated my belongings with utmost respect and care. They started moving me at 9:15 am and were complete by 1:30 pm. I had a lot of stuff but these guys, John’s team!, were stupendous. The final cost was so reasonable I highly recommend them!

Definitely 5 stars!!! Absolutely phenomenal, very professional, hard working, quick and friendly crew. I was referred by my friends, who used them couple of times. I got online reservation, they were very responsive and super fast, I was quoted for a really good rate and got 2 man+truck, team was very punctual, they had everything with them, they truly cared and nicely wrapped my furniture, disassembled and reassembled all items, all my belongings arrived in the great standing, with 0 damage on it, just in time, I thought I would hate this day, cuz was so stressful about the moving, this guys made my day!!! Highly recommend them, u won’t be sorry!

I’ve had to move a lot. There is no where more difficult to move then Manhattan. Alex and his team provide the best moving experience yet. They even arrived early, but called to ask if that was ok. I moved from a 3 flight walk up to a 2 flight walk up and they got all my stuff there in one piece.
For a very fair price, they they even provided plastic wrap, bubble wrap and furniture pads to protect the furniture during the move.
When my couch would not fit in the new location they didn’t hesitate to remove the door, the sofa feet, and try everything possible to get the sofa inside.
Absolutely great and quick service. I highly recommend. You will not find anyone better for the price.
