Frank did a great job on my hair. Getting a cut is usually an ordeal for me and it was a relaxing experience. Originally I was going to try George’s but with today’s heat, the wait was too long. The conversation was great, about the best I have had with a stranger in Park Slope in the last 10 years. He is meticulous in his cuts, and makes sure to ask questions before doing anything drastic. Pricing is very reasonable for the neighborhood. I will 100% be back soon. I would really like to see more positive reviews for Frank, it’s a great place and a chance to meet a real interesting old school Brooklyn guy.

Frank is a great guy, honest and naturally, a great conversationalist. I’ve been here several times now and I can say he’s a solid barber in the neighborhood. There’s also a nice lady that works there but I haven’t had my hair cut by her yet. I like the cuts here better than at George’s on 11th St. The last time I went to George’s I had to do some cleanup when I got home. They rush the cut and seem to be more interested in chatting loudly than cutting your hair. Frank, on the other hand, doesn’t rush and is quite attentive while he’s cutting your hair. He still gets you out of the chair in a reasonable amount of time, however. His prices are also reasonable. For a friendly neighborhood barber shop, this is the perfect place.
