I found the office on ZocDoc. The lisiting said they took my insurance and I did the online check-​in ahead of time so I could go in the middle of my workday. They tried to make me re-​fill out all the same info and do separate in-​person check-​in, said they weren’t sure if they took my insurance and informed me they not only do they not accept my HSA mySource pre-​tax card but «only take cash or personal check” — no debit or credit cards at all. «We’re specialists», was their reason, which literally means nothing or have anything to do with what form of payments your office takes. I had to walk out and skip the appointment because it had already been 30 mins since my appointment was supposed to start and I had to get back to work and they had no idea what they were doing. Don’t list your office on ZocDoc if you don’t know how to use ZocDoc and make it clear you only take specific forms of payment.

The staff is downright rude, the doctor is cold and they tried to double bill me. My favorite part is that he removed the wrong mole off my back.
I sat in the office for 45 minutes then was called. They told me my co-​pay was due. I handed over my credit card and was told they only accepted cash. The caustic woman at the front desk (Doreen) argued with me and made me walk 8 blocks to an ATM. When I got back I saw the doctor (after waiting another 35 minutes). He was totally preoccupied and strange. When I asked him about the copay he launched into a tirade about billing. Honestly I think it was the only time he was paying attention. I had a couple of moles go strange after my recent pregnancy. He hacked one out of my front (no aesthetic care was taken). I also had one on my back. When I arrived home I discovered he had removed the wrong mole on my back. To top it off a couple of days ago I received a bill in the mail for $ 20… This is after he told me they could not bill for copays. I already paid the copay. I also reported him to my insurance. They said that doctors cannot double bill. Do NOT use this dermatologist! Bad all the way around!
