You can’t beat $ 0.75/lb, and they do good work. But the woman I always have to deal with when I’m dropping off my laundry is always so rude. Last time I dropped off she shook her head and said«Is she crazy with all that laundry?» Uh, I can hear you? And sorry for spending money in your establishment? I don’t expect great customer service — I know we’re talking about the laundromat, not Trader Joe’s — but if you don’t have anything nice to say/do, then just don’t say/do it. Anyway, I still bring my laundry there. Am looking for a similar price closer to me but in the meantime I guess the joke’s on me.

I went here for the first time and it has a pretty nice setup. Free wifi, vending machines and it has 2 different channels playing. When I went, there were Law and Order: SVU and Inglourious Basterds playing. You have to buy a $ 1 card and you fill it with cash. This can of course be refilled. It doesn’t accept credit card or change. There is an atm machine inside. There isn’t a whole lot of seating, just a bench of chairs. There are a lot of machines, ranging from double load, triple load, mega load to maxi load. The price starts at 2.79 and goes up to 6.99. The dryers are free as long as you washed the clothes there too. Otherwise it’s 30 cents per pound. Laundry carts are provided and there are 5 folding stations. It was nice that it was in front of the TV. You do have to bring your own detergent. I went there around 4 pm on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. There were several empty machines. It seems that quite a few people leave the place while their clothes are washing(for which I am glad of). The place would be hell if it was jam packed. There isn’t a lot of space in the aisle between machines and there isn’t enough seating. The dryer I used did not my dry my clothes very well. It would only dry it for 10 minutes at a time. My underwear and shirts were fine, but my jeans and towels were kept damp this way. I saw that other dryers would go for 35 minutes so I’m not sure what was wrong with mine. This place is open 24⁄7 and the location is pretty safe. I live 2 blocks away and stumble home drunk in the middle of the night without too much hassle.

So this was my first time coming to this Laundromat. I thought everything was going to be smooth. Sooo long story short, one of the washing machines I was using wasn’t working. The machine was spinning, but no water was going in. After about 5 minutes, I went and told the attendant and she replied saying that all of the machines work and to switch it to warm water. Smh. She walked over, and after a few minutes of looking at the machine I told her that you see, it doesn’t work. She then replied that it does. In my head I’m looking at the 4 other machines that I am using and those are legit working with water and soap in all. At about the 13 minute mark a little bit of soap and water started to trickle down. I told her again that the machine is not working and I already missed the wash cycle and my clothes are not going to be clean. She looked at me again and said that it works. After that I was completely turned off. I told her that I wasn’t going to argue with her and i asked to buy some tide so I can wash them again. GREATCUSTOMERSERVICE! Will never come back

I can say that this is the nicest and well priced laundromat in the area. I was excited to have a nice facility to do laundry or have a quick turnaround for a drop-off service. I am rating the customer service. I had been going in for six months, and had been helped by one employee who is kind and pleasant every time I’m there. However there is another woman that turns her back to me as I walk in. Then when I ask for help or assistance she is rude and impatient. There is really no trigger for the nasty attitude. She is basically driving business away(or mine at least). I am worried to go in there mostly because I never know of which kind of experience I will be subjected to. It could be pleasant or an overly rude interaction.

This laundromat had me at «free dryers». It might have started 2013 summer special but it has now become the very reason I do my laundry here. Oh and free wifi! The staff is nice and the environment is clean. There is a Chinese carry out next door and you can grab a meal and ask to break your large bills. They seem to be pretty nice about that. You have to use a card to pay for the machines. You refill it with bills only and make sure it’s exact. The machine does not dispense change. The machines range from $ 2.49 for the smallest load to $ 6.79 for the largest(you can fit about 5 – 6 loads of laundry).

This is one of the better laundromats in this part of the Stuy, hands down. And it’s 24⁄7 too, which isn’t common around the way. They’ve made good efforts of late to keep the place a lot cleaner, which is a big plus cause I get grossed out pretty easily(though I’ve never been grossed out there) and the slight remodeling has made the folding area more maneuverable. Though the prices have risen in the past year, the drop-off service hasn’t, and they do a great job at washing and sorting your clothes well(though we did end up with an extra sock last time… LOL). The only thing I don’t like about the dropoff is the soap they use(makes me itch — but I’m sensitive) but if you give them your own personal detergent they’ll use it — so everyone’s happy!

My go to laundry place all my 7 years in Brooklyn. As my tip says, open 24−7−365(I’m not sure about Christmas) They run their machines via card, you buy a card and then refill it on their kiosk. Don’t bring coins, bring cash. They have lots of machines ranging from small loads to the family sized Mega wash(or was it super?) It gets loud in here which is my only demotion on my rating. The staff are friendly enough and the atmosphere is generally convivial. Warning– the worst days are obviously the weekend from 11am-5pm. Holidays are also packed. One word of extreme warning– don’t put your dirty laundry in the rolling baskets, you will be scolded promptly and severely.
