Most disgusting, unkept hole I’ve ever been in! Cigarettes butts and garbage littering the stair wells, which are falling apart, yellowed and stained white linens on the bed, cigarette burns all over the carpets and on the blanket on the bed, holes and spackle all over the walls, shower was all yellow and brown around the tiles, absolutely disgusting place! Immediately left the room after walking in and looking around! Told the guy at the front desk that there was no way I was staying there, and he told me to call Travelocity(who it was booked through) customer service. Travelocity called them and told me that they weren’t willing to refund my money because I had checked in already… how else would I get into the room to see how disgusting it was? I then called and spoke with the manager who still refused to give me a refund, stating that unless I was willing to switch rooms(after saying they were sold out) they couldn’t help me, because they have a no refund policy… horrible people running a horrible facility. I grew up hanging around the projects and never met anyone interested in paying $ 150 to stay in them for the night, and this place looked like a poor kept project tenament, no exaggeration… stay away!

I made a reservation on Thursday for the upcoming Saturday. If you want a room overnight, your best bet is to reserve it. This place gets packed on the weekend and then you’ll only be able to get a room for up to a limited number of hours. My first impression was that it’s a nice set up and well worth the $ 152.68. It’s $ 130 before taxes though. The only negative thing I have to say is that a section of the wall has visible stains.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. 1. Me and my girlfriend reserved a room on our drive from Maryland to NY. When we got to the front desk at around 2am the clerk told us that he had no reservation for us. Even after showing him the confirmation email and confirmation number, we were hassled. Finally, he begrudgingly gave us the room. 2.The hotel smells like weed. The. Whole. Thing. From the moment we walked in, thought the lobby, the elevator, the hallway, AND our room. REEKED of weed. 3. The room was nothing special. I was expecting a little more for the price we paid.($ 450 for 2 nights, 3 days) The bed was lumpy and the pillows were a sad excuse. 4.Too many mirrors. I felt like I was on set of an 80’s porno. One ENTIRE wall was floor to ceiling mirrors and there was a 6’x4’ mirror in the headrest of the bed. DONOTSTAYATTHISHOTEL unless you are desperate. Find a well-lit area and sleep in your car. Seriously.

Well… the best part was the fact that we had a jacuzzi in our bedroom that glowed neon lights. The bad part was that it was broken. Damn. I wound up here on New Years day for some reason that is bigger than myself and I was content in that moment because it was somewhere to put my head. But I had to say that whoever is running the room sales for late night is one of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. We went up to say hi to our friends in a room on the 2nd floor and he traced us on a camera, called the room, and threatened to call the police. Cool. We also paid $ 80 to stay there for 5 hours and the guy called us multiple times to get us out. Freakin’ New Years. Other than the threatening manager, the scary décor, and the smell of cigarettes looming the room, Harry Potter was on TV at 6am, so I guess that’s worth an extra star. Whatever, never again.

Decent little place, they have good sized rooms, at affordable prices, and i was surprised to find that the rooms have plasma TV’s. This is a nice place to stay at, specially if you are planning to look around the city and visit places in Brooklyn or Manhattan, and its just 10 mins away from JFK, which i think is convenient if you come in from there.
