Galaxy Restaurant

This review is for their delivery service. My office placed an order for lunch and it took forever to get here. At one point we called and asked where our food was and they told us it would be here in 5 minutes and we probably waited for another half hour before it finally got here.
Food was average tasting but overpriced for what it is and portions are not great. We ordered 2 Italian paninis which normally comes with prosciutto ham however a girl in our office asked for it to be replaced with chicken as she does not eat pork due to religious reasons. When they delivered it to us they sent us 2 paninis with prosciutto so we called them to let them know they made a mistake and to please come back with the right order and to take back the other one. First, they tried to tell us that this is what she ordered and there were like 10 of us who heard her request chicken. Second, she doesn’t eat pork due to religious reasons so she would never be dumb enough to order it for herself. So, finally they told us that they couldn’t fix it because they were done for the day and they would make sure to get it right next time. Needless to say there will be no next time ordering from these people. I agree with the review that says all these good reviews were probably written by family and friends of the owner.

Came to New York on a girls trip & was walking around Brooklyn starving. So we decided to try this hidden gem. Food was soooo delicious. We don’t have food like this in San Francisco, let me tell you. I had the pasta with chicken & vegetables. Mouth watering. Try the Russian juice, compot (spelling?) but it was perfect with my pasta. The presentation was very impressive. Loved the orchid, which are my fave! The couches are super comfy. Told the owner, he was going to have to open a restaurant like this one in San Francisco. Will definitely come back before we leave, I recommend it if you happen to be walking down Ave U.

I don’t know what the person below is talking about. I am from San Francisco and I was walking on avenue U with a few of my girls & decided to give this hidden place a go. We walked in and were greeted by the owner, who sat us down immediately. There was another couple dining in here. It was in between lunch and dinner. I had the chicken kebab and truffle’s mash potatoes. Oh my effing God! It was amazing!!! I’m extremely picky with Kebab considering half the places I’ve ever been to served it dry. I would love to come back here & bring my family! Definitely worth all five stars! Ten if possible!

The worst service and food ever!!! I have no clue who wrote the previous reviews, probably family and friends of the owners. i have never experienced such terrible food (soggy salads, fish and meat were NOT fresh, no focus on presentation, drinks were room temperature). The owner was also plain RUDE!
For the Russian audience: guys, do you remember a restaurant in the mid 90’s called Kalinka, on Kingshighway? Galaxy is even worse
Too bad I can’t put no star at all.
DONT GO!, just save your money for better place.

Awesome! That’s all I can say. Just out of this world décor. The food is amazing! The service is very good and the prices is not that bad at all.
Had a party with my friends and it was worth the money. Their new menu is very interesting and unusual in some way. Will definitely recommended!

Had my daughter’s birthday party here 2 years in a row :) amazing food, service and atmosphere. Would recommend for a party of many or just lunch/​dinner for two. A hidden gem on avenue U.

Great Restaurant! I went here for a friend’s daughter’s birthday party. The food was great, atmosphere was inviting and nicely decorated. The kids had a great time! DJ was really good as well. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to have a party here!

Stopped by for dinner with my wife. Excellent food. Everything that was served, was fresh or cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

We were visiting New York and decided to have a dinner at this lovely place. We made the right decision. Everything: ambiance, food, service, dessert was great, absolutely amazing! We would highly recommend it!!!
