Do not go into this GameStop if you can walk a little further and do business at the one on Court Street please do so. The owner at this place is little Spanish lady, and is beyond rude and condescending. The people that work there are friendly but she’s nasty to the point that it doesn’t matter how friendly others are… DO NOT GO HERE!

If you want to be charged 195 dollars for a 65 dollar game, please go here! Not only that, if you try to get your money back they will fraudulently tell your bank the charges are legit without actually researching it. Good luck getting anyone to actually try to correct their mistake, it’s been 2 months and still can’t get my money back. Really disappointed a billion dollar company has such a terrible system for customer service.

Whatever you do, get to this GameStop BEFORE 3:30 pm on a weekday.
If you don’t, you will be subjected to the crowd of loud-​ass kids that comes in to do nothing but scream inanities into their phones, pick up every item in the store, complain about prices/​selection/​school/​being kids, and generally make life miserable for the staff, clientele, and everyone in the entire world.
Otherwise, it’s not a bad store. The staff (Arnaldo the manager in particular) knows their business. He knows the games, the systems, the ins and outs of trading stuff in and he even helped me save a little money when he didn’t have to.
If I ever played anything except FIFA, I’d probably come back in regularly. As it is, I’ll probably just spend a stupid amount of money getting the slightly updated new version every year.

One star for the great air conditioning. That’s the only nice thing I can say about this place, though I’m not a fan of Game Stop in general due to their crooked policies on games. Customer service is nonexistent here so don’t bother unless you know exactly what you want & don’t need help from the staff.

It was so nice to be asked if we needed help in here… oh wait, that didn’t happen. If you want great customer service, go elsewhere.

A good gamestop. Alot of people always say downtown Brooklyn is ghetto, not all stores are ghetto and what is ghetto hmm? The gamestop here is never really pack. This location has everything I wanted. The service here is good. So 3 stars is good.

Staff tries their best to get you what you need, even if they have to call another store and have it held for you. They are knowledgeable, patient, informative, and when you want something they get-​er-​done (lol).
Only setback is the consistent crowd that swarms this place. A lot of them are just hanging out or playing the games there… so expect a harmless but slightly annoying crowd.
