I needed flip flops for a spa date and I was not willing to pay more than $ 1. I lucked out and found one pair for $ 0,99. There were two-three open registers so the line moved fairly quickly. No complaints here.

This place is an absolute rip-off. Avoid it at all costs. Everything I’ve bought to date has been defective. The Clorox with bleach spray didn’t clean, the grease-cutting dish detergent didn’t cut grease, the shower rack was lopsided/poorly designed, the ‘new’ sheets had a stain, the lightbulbs didn’t work the next day, the pots warped or broke, the non-stick pans stuck to food… They have a strict no refund policy so that they can’t be held financially accountable for the poor quality of products they sell. These products are discount because they are defective or expired before they reach the store or because they’re poorly made. I bought them for convenience but will no longer be cheated by this fraud of an establishment. Shame on the owners for selling such poor quality products to the community. Shame.

Gem’s is your one stop shop for just about everything; you can get anything from discounted shampoo(name brand) to Furniture, to kitchen ware to cleaning supplies. I love it. My house would nearly be as tidy, organized or clean if Gem wasn’t around. Seriously. It makes you think, if they can sell it so cheap, why can’t duane reade and those other pharmacy/department stores?

Dollar store up top, inexpensive furniture store on the bottom. Got socks for $ 1 a pair and a folding chair for $ 10. Would definitely try this place out before spending more at the Target down the block.
