Georgetown Dental Spa

Today was my first visit to Dental Spa for some minor issues. I was considering canceling my appointment after reading the reviews on Unilocal but I am so happy I didn’t. Upon my arrive I was greeting by a wonderful staff who kept me entertained with good conversation while I was waiting to be seen. After a short wait I was seen by dentist who was gentle and knowledgeable. She identified issues that two previous dentist I have seen within the past six months either ignored or missed. Overall this was one of the best dentist experience I have had. Do not allow a few negative reviews to prevent you from receiving outstanding service, it is impossible to keep everyone happy. Thank you, Dental Spa team!

The receptionist here was very rude and practically refused to do her. She also said she was the only one there I can speak to and she has no supervisor

If there were an option for negative stars — that’s what this place deserves.
Customer service — Non-​existent. The level of incompetence knows no bounds at this place. Basic decency — none.
An appointment was made with full knowledge that a Groupon voucher would be used and upon arrival — service was denied by the person who scheduled the appointment. After not being acknowledged and left to wait for one hour… on a Sunday. Huh? Absurd. The fact of the matter is if a business is listed on Groupon, they have entered into an agreement to honor those purchases — business 101.
I would not recommend this establishment, nor would I return. If they cannot handle the simple task of making an appointment and sticking to it, or vetting the appropriate people to handle such a minor task, imagine what they may be doing with your teeth. I shudder to think.
AVOID!

I’ve gone to dental spa twice and both times have wasted my time with them being listed as a groupon vendor and telling me after an hour wait that they won’t honor my voucher. The dentist seem nice and knowledgable but the people manning the front desk have no sense of making sure you don’t waste your time or energy. This Spa feels like a free clinic and I will make sure everyone I know does not go to this subpar establishment.

The staff is really nice and pleasant.
The dentist is super sweet.
Everything is done quickly, but maybe a little bit too quick.
I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled here no problem, but I had no idea what to do when I got home.
The dentist did call later on that night to make sure I was ok.
I had to email him to ask a whole bunch of questions because I didn’t want to get dry socket or stinky breath because I didn’t know how to get the food out of the sockets.
I also started braces here too.
I was under the impression I was going to get Invisalign, because that’s what the dentist kept telling me, but when I went in to pick them up it was Clear Correct.
No big deal, I looked it up, it’s the same thing essentially, and it’s cheaper than Invisalign.
But once again, my appointment went by so quickly, no one told me how to take care of them, clean the braces, how long I can leave them out for, etc.

I want to begin by saying that I used to be terrified of going to the dentist. In the past, I would feel embarrassed by my teeth so I just stopped going. This all changed when I stumbled upon Georgetown Dental Spa. It was very hard to come by an office that provides such excellent service and comfort to their patients. They hold their patients in the highest regard and the entire staff runs the office very efficiently. Now I look forward to my routine 6 month visits. This office was a life changer for me.
