Dr Michaeal Turano, Dr Gerald Turano’s brother, is the best GYN Dr I have ever been to and I’m 51 years old. Very thorough, very knowledgable, great personality and is always so cheerful. I will never see another GYN as long as he is practicing.

Dr. Gerard Turano is an amazing doctor. I’ve been with him longer than any doctor I’ve ever had, 10 years now. He’s been with me through good times and exceptionally bad times and he’s always able to put me at ease. He’s a diligent note taker, keeps an excellent history record and is always extremely personable. I think it’s pretty rare to say it’s a joy going to the gyn, but this man really makes it a pleasant experience. If you make an appointment later in the day be prepared to wait, though that is a testament to the amount of time he spends personally with each patient. I adore him so much that even after leaving Brooklyn for upper Manhattan, I still make the trip out to see him every year.

Gerard Turano is a fully qualified, sympathetic, understanding, and knowledgeable gynecologist that has been in the field for years! Although he unfortunately no longer delivers children, his track record for attention to detail and completing a thorough annual check-​up, at least for me, is always beyond satisfactory. His staff is incredibly sweet, and the waiting room is calm and feminine as Bach plays through the radio speakers.
I’ve been coming here for several years now, and I can honestly say he is worth the sometimes 2 hour wait! Get a book or magazine and just wait for this doctor to do his magic for you! I respect this man so much because he has never NEVER ever forced me to further consider birth control, which many practitioners try to impression on their patients. He understands that it’s a woman’s choice afterall, and will actually look through your chart and make notes as the appointment goes on!
