Gingerbread Man Cleaning

After using Home Joy, I stumbled upon Gingerbread Man Cleaning on Unilocal and decided to take advantage of the Unilocal promotion.
We had their cleaning services yesterday in my 2BR Brooklyn apartment and they did a fabulous job. Unlike Home Joy, Gingerbread Man’s cleaning was meticulous, paying close attention to details and covered a much larger area of superior service than Home Joy. Home Joy was able to do my apartment but certain rooms were done more thoroughly than others, with far less attention paid to detail.
In terms of Cost, Gingerbread Man is the clear winner over Home Joy, covering more ground with exceptional attention to detail all within an extremely reasonable price, even if I had not received the discount savings of $ 30.00.
I only wish they had an internet booking system like Home Joy as GM’s is a bit wonky to try to schedule service via phone (I do everything via internet). They are very pleasant and flexible every time I’ve called them, but the convenience of scheduling service is more customer friendly and convenient via internet vs. phone.
My second wish: the name of the company is very poor branding. I would not have made the association that a Gingerbread Man had anything to do with a cleaning service and conjuring up the image of a Gingerbread Man cookie and my toilet all in the same scene is a tad troubling. If one wants to get literal, the story goes the Gingerbread Man ran away and was eaten by a fox —- what on earth is the connection here?
