This place should be condemned. The clerks sell cigarettes per peice which attracts junkies who count there pennies. There are also flies swarming around the deli at all times and there are hoodrats who hang out front.

I like this place. It’s the closest place to grab some good near the big warehouse where I work. It’s clean. Unlike the bodega across the street which is crowded and dirty. The guys behind the counter are really friendly.

The Perrier is overpriced, the seltzer water is never in stock, the Zico water takes three weeks to restock, the chocolate I prefer takes three weeks to restock, and they only have Dutchmaster’s five days out of seven

I find any establishment that has to steal a long standing existing establishments name to be very questionable. After finding out God Bless Deli 2 has nothing to do with the original I decided to check it out anyway. Don’t be fooled by the name. No where near as good as the original which is located on Manhattan Avenue off of Calyer Street. I think the owners of GBD2 should realize that stealing a name does not mean the quality is there. It lacks the charm and quality of the original. Would be better if they came up with their own name and spent time building their neighborhood rep just as the original did for well over 25 years give or take.
