Ive been to both offices. I have to say Dr. Guirgis and his staff are the best. From day one when i found out i was pregnant and was referred to Dr. Guirguis by a very close friend who also was a patient and had twins, i had such a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and the wait was never anything crazy. I met all the doctors and midwives. They always were so attentive to my needs and how i felt. I was always comfortable and was never rushed. Everything was explained in detail and was always happy with the service. They made me feel so comfortable, as it was all about me and the health of my baby. Excellent, very knowledgeable and highly recommended. Thanks to everyone for a job well done. I appreciate your care, professionalism and all your help during my pregnancy. If i had to do it all over again Dr. Guirguis /​Swanson would be my choice.

Dr Guigus delivered all three of my children. I love his bed side manner. He’s worth the wait. Very friendly staff.

I was a patient in this office for 6 months. I am now in my 32^nd week and needing to find a new doctor. I cant say much about the actual doctors as i have only met Dr. Fayez Guirguis once and that was 4 months ago. All other appointments have been with the midwives. They are all very sweet but waiting 60 – 90 minutes to have a 30 second ultrasound is pretty frustrating. They have only ever checked for the heart beat. Not thorough exams at all. What really got under my skin is the receptionists. I have been to all three locations and besides a really long wait time, they are incredibly rude. My experience in the Staten island office was the last straw. After arriving 20 minutes early for my appointment which should have been the first of the day the receptionist told me the doctor was running 30 minutes late and sent me away. She said she called but i never received any message. Upon confrontation she basically called me a liar and said she did leave a message. Not true. Sat and waited an additional 30 minutes in the office after sitting for 50 minutes in the car. She was not accommodating as i feel i should have been seen first. I have excellent insurance which pays them in full but apparently that’s not taken into consideration. I told her she lost the office a patient, she didn’t even blink. Now i am stuck looking for an office with 8 weeks or less to delivery. I recommended two friends to this office, after they heard what happened they are also leaving. No phone call no apology. I’m sorry i have never had such shitty treatment as a patient and expected a little more from an ob office

You’ll wait an hour or two for your appointment — if you’re lucky.
Want to call? Better hope you do it during the few hours a week that they actually answer the phone.
The service is this place in unbelievably bad.
