H&R Block

I wish I could give it 0 stars. The customer service was appalling — having booked an appointment we were told to reschedule, as some friends of our ‘tax advisor’ had turned up so we appeared to be bumped back. When we went back an hour later we were seen by Peter Ruso — who was incredibly unhelpful. Not sure if he thought he was being funny or not — but he seemed very off — kept repeating the same things, very condescending and irritating. We left without seeking any further help from him. Terrible experience — go to a real accountant, not this crappy place.

My husband and I were just kicked out of this H&R location, for doing what is advertised by the company – we went in for a consult, not guaranteeing we would file with them.
Well, we went in for a consult and were treated extremely unprofessionally and then yelled at to leave when we decided to not file the return with H&R. We even filed with them last year, with the same tax associate. Her name is Victoria Word, and I do not believe I have ever been treated so badly by any sales representative or other company rep, ever. She was incredibly rude and we will not be taking our business to H&R Block again.
We will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Your customer service is not only horrendous, it lacks basic human decency.
