Cute and adorable and overall selections of children’s clothes, toys, and accessories, and other unique items, such as their own made Brooklyn T-shirts. Song sisters who own the place are friendly and polite and helpful. Problem is with their male hispanic staff member; he only acknowledges the presencw and is helpful and bows down and bends over backwards to to the white Park Slope moms and their types and MILFS. Otherwise, he ignores you or follows you around the store and when it comes to purchasing the items, there is no thank you or goodbye, no eye contact, no smile, pleasantries, just a frown and an expression of being displeased because you are not a white MILF. And he just ‘that’s it”. So, for this review, Mr. surly guy who wat to eff a white MILF, that’s it for this review. Sorry not sorry Song sisters.

Cutest little toy and clothing store near Brooklyn Bridge Park. Found it on the way to the subway. We got a giftcard for our friend that we were visiting. The sales person was nice to and wrapped it in a bag and tissue. They are on the pricier side. Ex. Sophie the Giraffe is cheaper online or Babies r us. But they have a great selection of «boutique» toys & clothing which is probably why you should shop here(vs. things you can find at BRU) Though they have everything else you need including car seats/cribs/bottles etc. There is a good view of the bridge/empire state outside on the street which is used in a lot of commercials.(we heard someone ahead of us telling his group of tourist friends)

One can still shop local… even on the internet! Even from Germany! Some friends of ours in Brooklyn had a little bebe and we wanted to send something nice along to welcome the chap to the world. Being the somewhat untraditional parents that they are(they love Jay-Z! And racecars! They are cool… or maybe just busy/overwhelmed), there was no BabysRUS registry to be found, so I was on my own. I did a quick internet search and found the online site for Half Pint Citizens(first, can we reflect… cute name, so Brooklyn) and got to searching. After finding the«Oldtimer RaceCar» of this new baby’s toddler dreams… I decided to purchase. …then I hit a snag. It would not recognize that I was not shipping internationally and kept tacking on the $ 25 fee to ship in this fashion. Probably due to my German IP address. In reality, it was going from DUMBO to Brooklyn Heights, not exactly a long way to travel. So I bucked my first notion(which was to hit CANCEL, BYE! TOOBAD!) and dialed up the store, which turned out to be exactly the right thing to do. Kristen did my whole order over the phone, threw in gift wrap(and shipping!) for free and my gift was on its way to our new baby pal the very next day. She even emailed me a receipt with a personal note. *gift wrap is regularly only $ 4. **note, shipping is free on ALL orders over $ 50. NOW, that is customer service if I’ve ever heard/seen it. Kristen was a huge help and handled the whole order really professionally. I haven’t been to the store, but based on this experience alone… I can highly recommend it for all of your baby toy and baby gift needs!

Pretty cool little toy store in DUMBO right next to the park*. Maybe a little on the pricey side but they have some good stuff in here, including these stuffed animals called JellyCats that my wife loves and is collecting for our daughter. We also bought her a little wooden 6 train. *Unrelated fact, if you stand outside this store there is a really cool view of the Empire State Building through the Manhattan Bridge… I forgot to take a picture :*(Maybe next time.

Great store! This is exactly the type of clothing/toy store you would expect to find in Brooklyn — everything they have is adorable, high quality, easy to find and artsy. They truly carry the best of the best(organic bamboo onesies, locally made crafts, everything Jelly Cat, etc.). If you are looking for a unique gift that is the highest quality(e.g. Italian made infant mittens) then this is the place to go. I have yet to be disappointed with anything that I have purchased. I also appreciate the care they take in wrapping their gifts and their commitment to the environment in both the items they carry and the their gift wrapping. One thing to note is that this is not the place to go if you are looking for an inexpensive gift. You should stick with Toys R Us if you have a price point under $ 50. A onesie and a matching hat will run you in the $ 70+ range.
