This class was much less nerve wracking than I thought & TRUST ME I’m not in shape. Weeks after my surgery I was finally able to get out & have fun! She was fun, informative, and made us all feel welcome. I would definitely return!

Took an aerial silk class with Cody through a deal with Lifebooker. Needless to say when I saw this deal I said I had to do it (it sounded so sexy and unique) and somehow convinced two other girlfriends to sign up for the deal. With three girls, it was very hard to coordinate schedule on when we could take the class. Cody was very patient with me on scheduling classes, canceling, and rescheduling over a two month period.
My girlfriends and I finally were able to schedule an aerial class with her in the Williamsburg location. She had three silks dedicated for a class of around 10 people. The newbies (us 3) had one sillk and the more experienced individuals took the others. Cody was very good at spending time with the newbies and teaching us the basics. Everyone, at the class, were also very supportive and gave us positive feedback. We were only able to learn the basics in one class.
I wish there was more time to teach us some of the more complicated moves but that’s what makes you want to come back for more. Let me just say that it’s not as easy at it seems. The experience definitely humbled me. Just watching the regulars there, it was amazing to watch how sexy and free flowing the moves were.

First time taking the class with my friends and we had a great time. A bigger class than normal due to the scheduling but nonetheless it was fun. We learned quite a few moves even though we were in the beginners group. Great workout for your arms, but unfortunately I need to work on that before I take another class. It will make me look more graceful? I think, I hope.
My friends and I can’t wait to go again.

Cody is an excellent teacher/​coach and a lot of fun to work and train with! I highly recommend her classes to anyone looking to just try out the circus arts as well as for those who are a little more advanced and looking for a little more training and tweaking of their skills.
