Jackie’s Delicatessen

I’ve been eating here for over 20 years, and they honestly make some of the best sandwiches around. Great deli for the marine park Brooklyn area. It has stood the test of time while other places have come and go for a reason.

Still Marine Park’s better Boar’s Head deli. Please read my older reviews, they still apply. So what’s my new POV? It’s a place where I can find something vegan and tasty to eat with my carnivore friend. I like their sweet vinegary cucumber onion salad, chickpea red-​bean & pickled-​pepper salad, and garlicky broccoli pasta salad. If you’re a vegetarian who eats eggs & cheese there are a LOT more choices than that. And everything’s served with warmth and friendliness.

Best deli in the immediate Marine Park area! Unfortunately we do not have many stores in the area with a couple of exceptions on Avenue S and Quentin Road.
Either way, Jackies is excellent!
They are a full service deli, meaning you can find a wide selection of food ranging from old cuts to chicken cutlet sandwiches to egg or chicken salad and many other Italian specialties.
You also can get your basic necessities like milk and bread here but it’s the sandwiches that draw you in!
My favorite is the honey glazed turkey with cheddar cheese on an everything bagel with mayo lettuce and tomato! It’s the perfect sandwich when we are packed up and ready to go to the beach! A quick stop by Jackie’s is a must!
Parking can be tough at times so they will take your order and bring it to you curbside to prevent a double parking ticket!
As other reviewers have said, the prices can be a little higher than some delis but it’s not a ridiculous amount.

A real neighborhood place. They’re a little pricey, but their sandwiches are always top notch. A nice local place, good for the occasional treat.

I live right up the block and there’s no other delis nearby to get sandwiches, burgers, real food etc. and the food here is good! All homemade from scratch. But why is a bacon egg and cheese 5 – 6 dollars? I can walk a few extra blocks to coleman av and get a much better be&c for 3 dollars smh. Also Heros — almost ten dollars ??? Jackie’s is just extremely overpriced. They are just like any other deli in queens but since they are located in marine park they have to charge ridiculous prices? Also why is the grill off at 5 pm? I believe the grill should be on till you close ! Point is — great food, but not that great for the prices.

This is a great neighborhood deli. The staff here is nice and there is a good selection of scratch made items. However, we have had only sandwiches and not much else. Not for any reason other than we go here for road trip meals and we rarely do take out when we are at home. I can tell you they do the right thing by their sandwiches. They have long list of various sandwiches and so far we liked them all.

They should take more care with their sandwichs, put together sloppily. Also, many items on the shelves are past their prime.

Great deli in Marine Park!
It is family owned and been here for years. Great food, sandwiches and they make an amazing taco salad!
Jackie is a sweetheart and I worked here after school and on the weekends when I was in high school.

I love this place! I’ve been going there for the past 2 years about a few times a month. I have yet to have a bad experience.
I usually order The Drew Bird sandwich which is chicken cutlet, cheese, French fries and gravy on a roll or hero.
The people in there are very friendly which is a huge plus for me!
If you’re ever around the area, check it out!

Great local deli, very helpful counter people, reasonable prices, nice selection. Everything is really fresh and tasty, wish there were more places like this one.

This place is clean and they have good food especially there spinach pie and crumb cake … BUT and i say BUT if your in a rush DO NOT ENTER this joint … Plenty of help but they are ALWAYS SLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWW… Its a shame cause several people i know say the same thing… two stars taken off for such slow service…

Decent local deli with a variety of meats and cheeses. Well kept with friendly staff. I just wish they were open later since there really aren’t that many delis in the area.
