Came here last night and probably wouldn’t come here again for the food. For the price they charge, you would think they would automatically give you plastic plates or offer water to the patrons. Everything is either deep fried or steamed with no taste. Management is no where to be seen, young kids running the place. The place didn’t have a clean vibe either.

I love this place. I cannot believe I haven’t reviewed it before. I feel like I am back in New England every time I dash in here before a movie. I always order too much. In the winter I sneak it into the movie theater. Sometimes j wait until after the movie and grab something to go fish and chips double order is my thang. This is a summer time classic. Love it

Came in here on a hunch; ordered the lobster roll. Noticed that they were named #1 in The Daily News three years ago. I SEEWHY. The lobster was succulent and it was abundant. But it had NOFLAVOR. I was saddened to realize that the only flavor that awoke my mouth was the butter roll. Should have spent my money at TGI Fridays.

We stumbled on this place accidentally. Do yourself a favor and go! The food is exceptional. The portions are generous and if you like to cook, they also sell fresh seafood on the premises at reasonable cost.

I had take out from there Because I said I liked lobster & a friend drove me there. The food was just not tasty. And everything else is quick fried. The lobster had zero flavor & that chalky butter they give wasn’t helping. City island, Red Lobster or so many places this city offers is better than this rush of a place. They are clearly about money &NOT customer service. This week I was just shocked, & disgusted when I re visited to sit down & eat. Friends took me out for graduating nursing course. They knew I liked seafood, didn’t know I’d been there. There were 3 mice in the dining area. The patrons that we’re leaving said«theyve got rats we’re outta here»! While I awaited ordered I looked over & I saw one. I alerted the aloof staff, but when I saw 2 more!!! I was extra pissed off & vocal. The young boy behind counter dismissively said«I told my manager, what do you want me to do»? I explained my concerns of sanitation, pointed out that people we’re leaving & it’s not good business practice, nor customer service. I understand he was just a staff member but HOWCANYOUCHARGEPEOPLEFULLPRICEWITHRODENTSINPLAINSIGHT? HOWCANYOUACTASIFYOUWOULDWANTTOEATSOMEWHEREWITHTHATATYOURFEET? The mice drove what was left of clients willing to stay, or who’d already purchased outside to eat in the chill of the night. One mouse tried to visit us, but we stamped out feet & chairs sending him scurrying back inside. The experience was awful. I didnt finish my food. I found staff to be kinda rude & incompetent. And I hope some one videos the rodents + sends it to the local news & better biz bureau… They need to be suspended for a bit, ANDSANITIZETHEFRIGGINPLACE!

My absolute, all time favorite seafood joint ever! And I’m from the Outer Banks of NC. All the food is simple, not overly seasoned or cooked, just really good fresh sea faire complemented by fries or corn. So glad we stumbled on this place two years ago. We were going to eat at TGIF’s before a movie at the theater across the street, but Hurricane Sandy had closed the chain down. So, lobster dock was our second choice. Now it’s our one and only choice. You’ve never seen jumbo shrimp like these. Their clam strips are tender, not chewy like other places. And I would eat their lobster bisque everyday if I could.

When your in Brooklyn and you are looking for the freshest seafood in the neighborhood, Jordan’s is the place to be. The restaurant sits on the marina and has a fresh fish market beside it ensuring that you will be enjoying the freshest catch of the day around. The broiled and steamed lobster is a specialty but pick anything off the menu and you will not be disappointed.

The food was not good. Red lobster have better crab legs. Do yourself a favor and stay away blah. Had the lobster roll and it wasn’t even cooked or flavored, the sweet potato fries I’ve had better at the deli. Calamari am still waiting on the marinade sauce, shrimp fried to a fault with no seasoning I can’t believe people keep going back.

Super duper fresh seafood. It’s got a wonderful laid-back atmosphere, nothing fancy here, just old fashioned family run place. Food is delicious. My recommendations on what to get: –Lobster bisque with a side of lobster. You won’t regret it. –Fresh raw oysters: Blue point oysters are huge and full of meat. They aren’t shucked as well as they should be but it is hearty and tasty. –Fried oysters were pretty delicious in my opinion. Light and moist on the inside — a great app for a hearty meal of seafood. It’s right across the street from the movie theater, so perfect to get great seafood here after a movie.

pound and a quarter lobster was weak — there wasn’t a lot of meat in the tail or tamale. I was so looking forward to eating creamy lobster guts but all I got was putrid green gunk. the soft shell crab platter came with french fries and three itty bitty crabs; seriously they were so tiny and mostly batter. fisherman’s combo was by far the worst — the clam strips looked like rubber bands deep fried in grease and they tasted just the same. all of the above cost us just around 74 dollars. what a waste.

Came here with some folks that are regulars. And while I loved the charm of an old school lobster place complete with fish market attached, quite frankly the food was just OK to the taste, expensive to the wallet. Right, I know, lobster is expensive and I’m not afraid of paying well for food. The fries were the frozen kind right off the truck and the pale iceberg salad with too many pink tasteless tomatoes that are never in season – particularly in March – were incredibly uninspiring. Sorry, but New York lobster just isn’t that great to the taste. Still, this is a pretty cool place to experience but not sure I’d come back. Maybe there was a good reason there was hardly anyone there on a Saturday during lunch. In this case I think the Unilocal community has pretty well nailed the rating on this venue.

Came here over the summer and forgot to write a review! If you want to stop by a local restaurant for fresh, juicy lobster… Here’s your spot! There’s indoor plus outdoor seating available. They also sell beer which pairs perfectly with seafood(I recommend a Stella)! The environment is small, cozy and friendly, nothing too fancy but definitely comfortable. It’s a good spot to stop by on your way to the beach or Boardwalk in Coney Island!

I enjoy coming here for their raw seafood but they need to learn how to handle their seafood. I came here one afternoon and ordered a few dozens of oysters and clams. We were really excited to sit down and dig until we got the final product. There were sand and small bits of shells and rocks all over it and it was so disappointing. I thought if we just scrape it off, everything will be good again. It wasn’t, it got really frustrating. We just ask them to pack everything to go and went home to rinse off our seafood. It doesn’t taste the same anymore after you rinse it with water. How disappointing.

Decided to come by here and give it a try since we always pass by it. What a mistake! We tried the lobster rolls which were nasty, the crab legs were decent, and comes with lots of fries. The place is staffed by what seemed like high school kids just wanting to hang out. There is no waiter service, you walk in and go to the counter, place your order in, and your food is brought out to your table. No one came to check on us throughout the meal. Glad we got to try it, but will never return.

This is a no-frills type of joint. I think that’s why I like it so much. DIY when it comes to the way you like your lobster is probably the best way to avoid disappointment. No «Ew, too much mayo!» complaints to be seen. And the décor is straight up New England shanty. I really was expecting to see a dock somewhere out back and hear the call of seagulls. I got the lobster roll. Every since I found out there was a thing called a Connecticut-style roll, I’ve been disappointed when I don’t get one. Not here. The pieces of lobster are HUGE, and perfectly cooked. So many times I don’t get the true taste of the lobster and it’s the reason why I’ve never been a lobster fan. But not here. The lobster was the star in this production. And she was a hit. I also went up the stairs to the back to see the retail end. I was asked if I wanted to see a lobster. I wasn’t buying so I didn’t want to trouble him. He said«no problem» and fished out a huge one from the giant tank. He was so impressed with it he called over another one of the guys to look at the«bug». Lobsters are called bugs? Well, this was a 7 pound monster crawly. My meal wasn’t cheap, but c’mon… it’s lobster. Do you really want to eat cheap lobster??? If you do, you’re going to need to move to Maine, buddy. You’re not going to get lobster as good here if you don’t pay for it. It’s that simple. All I ask is that you give this place a try. Don’t do the sad, pedestrian thing and go to the TGI Fridays next door. Who needs«flair» when you have authentic?

Nice little spot across from the movie theatre. I had the tuna steak and it was just okay. My boyfriends salmon fillet was great though!

I’m a big seafood person so when I found out that there was a place in Brooklyn with lobster rolls and crab legs, I immediately went. The layout isn’t the most modern but it goes well with the seafood mood. So you order at the counter and find a table either inside or outside. If you order fountain soda, it’s free refills! So the first time I went, I tried the lobster roll… although it’s pricey, it was so good! Big, generous portions of lobster. The roll was great too, toasted perfectly with a little butter. They give little packets of mayo on the side. It was a huge portion, I got full after half… it also came with fries. I’ve also tried the fish and chips — I loved that as well. I love fish, fresh fish? even better! I wish I lived closer, would be having seafood everyday! I definitely want to try the lobster bisque next time.

Lobster bisque was amazing! I definitely recommend getting the meat on the side. Pretty worth it for $ 8 total. The oysters were decent however not shucked to slide off the shell easily. Our king crab legs were not steamed with garlic although the menu says it should be made that way. That was pretty upsetting when the people next to our table had the garlic on top. It looked 100x more delicious. The fried clam strips were decent, nothing special. Fries were a little soggy. They give free cole slaw, all you have to do is ask! Also, there’s a $ 2 deposit for the seafood shell cracking things(idk the name lol). The deposit is understandable however it wasn’t even offered to us. We had to walk to our table then go to the counter again. Decent seafood joint if you just want to stay in the local bk area.

Jordan’s would be such a better eat-in experience if a staff person would just simply deliver food to the tables like a lot of other places do. You can’t relax after you order and pay at the counter, because now you have to listen for your number to be called so you can go back and get your food. If you have a big order you’re back and forth multiple times since they call you each time an item comes out of the kitchen rather than hold your order until everything is ready. The food is ready in no particular sequence. My group ordered soups, appetizers, a salad, and entrees. The salad & appetizers came out last. A piece of advice: if your group thinks it would be more convenient to make separate small orders than to do the math and split a large bill, DON’T DOIT! We tried that. Even though we ordered right at the same time, we were given order numbers with a gap of 5 numbers between them(what… 5 phone orders came in those few seconds?). So while some of us were eating, most of us were hungry and listening for our effing number. None of us had any complaints about the food when we finally got it. Lobster bisque, clam chowder, iceberg & tomato salad, fried zucchini, fried calamari, fried seafood platter, broiled shrimp, corn on the cob, etc. were all fresh and tasty. Nothing really special though. And fellow vegans, you’ll find nothing to eat here except the salad and corn. Wish I could give 2 ½ stars.

There is nothing better than eating seafood after a long morning and a bright sunny day. After the Color run, we stopped into Jordan’s since it was in the area. Lots of parking, really fresh seafood and a indoor /outdoor area for you to dine. We ordered a dozen oysters, a broiled lobster, and fish n chips with sweet potato fries. The meal came out to about $ 60 with a pepsi(whack) and an unsweetened iced tea. Besides the cocktail sauce coming in a pre-packaged condiment can that had the texture of jelly, everything was delicious. Friends all had the lobser roll. Huge chunks of lobster meat that looked good, but heard Lukes and the Lobster Joint was better. I was a fan 8 years ago and I’m still a fan today.
