I absolutely recommend juice hugger. I honestly think it’s the best deal in all of NYC for their juice cleanse. In fact, it is the only juice place that I truly trust. The fruits and vegetables they use in their juices are always of superb quality and the service of this place is out of this world. I’ve done their juice cleanse twice and both times it has transformed and reset my body. I love everything about this place and would be devastated if they left the neighborhood!

Waited over an hour for my delivery only to receive a call from the restaurant that the delivery guy had tried to deliver my food by calling and ringing the doorbell, but that I didn’t respond and the phone was dead, so he left — I heard no doorbell, nor received any call. What really made me angry was that the girl on the phone was simply like Yeah, sorry, we can’t send the delivery guy back out again. So, too bad. Like what? Thanks a lot. Screw this place.

This place is amazing! Did a 3 day juice cleanse, and was blown away by the quality and results! The owner was so great walking me through day by day, and step by step! She also gave me a ton of diet advice! I will be calling to order another 3 day this week! Just a heads up, bring a bag or two when picking up your cleanse package. The bags provided are not very sturdy and my 3 day cleanse all fell out of the broken bags on my walk home. That was a bummer. Get the vegan Mac n Chz. its to die for! Xo

I haven’t started my own cleanse yet but I’m already impressed with the juices. A cousin gave me her juices only after completing a half day worth of juices. This was my first total juice experience and I love it. The juices satiated me throughout the day which is surprising because I usually eat every 2 hours(I’m a teacher of students with Special Needs, so I need tons of energy). The day was extremely long for me so I did drink 7 juices instead of 6. I needed an 8th juice but they were frozen(my cousin froze them) so I had to settle for a cucumber. The taste was great in terms of veggie based juices. My favorite was the Chocolate Cashew. I believe the set of juices were from the Happiness Cleanse. I will try my own accompanied by a Parasite Cleanse. BTW: No crankiness or irritability!

Sigh. You know, because I made it a point to mention the things I DID appreciate about the service, I didn’t think I would get laid into by Kelly like a saw a lot of the lest-forgiving reviewers were. But alas, here we are. I’d like to address your question, Kelly, as to why I didn’t call in to let you know that i was disappointed with my food instead of writing a review. Now, I’ve never worked in the restaurant business but I would think it would be a nuisance for you and perhaps even a harassment to call you up and say«I HATEDEVERYTHING I ATE.» And then what? Demand a replacement? I tried an entire burger, chick peas, apple pie, mac and cheese, and finally ate a chocolate chip cookie from you guys after writing that review(which surprise – I also did not like). Statistically speaking, the chances of me finding something else on your menu that I DID like looked really slim. And whether or not I call you to let you know how I felt about your food is truly, truly my choice. I see that it bothers you that I wrote this original review after ordering once. But you happen to know that because I STATED it, and I stated it because I wanted to make it clear that there are more things on the menu, and there is still that chance that this is simply a one-off. I even made it known that I would probably order once more to give it another go. The point of Unilocal or any other review site is to let OTHERPEOPLE know what you thought of a place, their service, their food. Help them decide if they want to order there or not. You know what a big facet of that is? Whether or not you’d like the taste! It’s kind of a big deal. So I wrote my review in earnest: hated the food, good service otherwise, with a big ol’ disclaimer of ‘hey, this was my first time here so maybe the taste thing was just bad luck!‘ But you still felt the need to retort with a vengeance. You’re trolling thes reviews with such an attitude. And I get it, this is your work, you care about it, you work hard. Sometimes people *are* being jerks(like getting upset that you put alkaline water in your juices and giving you one star for that alone), but in this case, you got a review of someone saying your service was great, but they simply really didn’t like the food, yet they would be a good sport and try it one more time. A legitimate share of opinion without bias. But you’re here trolling anyway. Anyhow, I ordered again today! I got the Tasty Entrée(beyond meat protein, sweet potatoes, brown rice, kale), Juicy Greens Juice, and the sweet potato pie. Guess what? Still something I wouldn’t reorder. None of the tastes were to my liking. The brown rice fell flat, couldn’t depend on the beyond meat’s mediocrity, and the sweet potatoes were unremarkable. The pie was okay but again not something I would ever want again. And I won’t touch on the green juice. I didn’t exactly like it but it is for nutrients rather than taste, right? I’m sharing this info because the whole point is for potential customers to hear some opinions before they decide on where they get their food. Now you can snark back if you like, Kelly, but I should tell you, that attitude you give is probably NOT helping your business. The two stars remain. tl;dr The responses from people at this business via Unilocal are unnecessarily caustic at times, I tried the food again and was still very disappointed.

The cleanse — I got a 3 day juice HAPPINESS cleanse from juice hugger to kick off the summer. I have done 3 other cleanses from 3 other companies and this was the best. It was not overly sweet, it was not watered down and the cayenne pepper one was not intolerably spicy. My skin glowed! The food — I picked up my cleanse in person and decided to order a mini pizza for my daughter(vegan friendly cheeze and«pepperoni») and a «turkey» bowl with quinoa and kale salad. While I waited Kelly was very kind to give me detailed pointers and suggestions for drinks and edibles during my cleanse. In addition, she informed me of different ways our bodies process foods, should I continue to eat meat in the future. We talked for about 20 minutes to the point where my daughter asked if I was friends with her(it was my first time meeting her lol). I appreciate all the information Kelly gave and still follow some of the guidelines(after research) that she suggested. Many juice places are impersonal and God knows where they get their produce or their water. I am glad I got to put a face to the product. I will be going back!

Great pineapple ginger juice paired with fluffy gluten free pancakes(I posted a pic). Reasonable prices, too! There was also a small but nice selection of gluten free snacks at the counter. Small seating area inside. I’d like to try the GF pizza next time!

Just ordered lunch from here. The entrees were ok. They tasted good but were tiny and very rice-heavy. The kale salad side was like a garnish. We also ordered the spicy greens juice. It was very obviously half water. Then I realized water is listed at the first ingredient on the back of the bottle. Come on. At first glance this seems like it’s going to be a good place, but it is very clear to me that they cut corners. I am not an angry person and I do not think food should be super cheap. I do think, though, that when you pay full price for what you assume is healthy and honest food, the restaurant should honor your trust. I would not recommend this place.

Food is ok, but delivery takes 90 minutes to go less than a mile. Pizza got here cold all 4 times I ordered.

Dont order from here. What an utter dissapointment. Spent 6 dollars on a «chicken soup» and all i got was water with a bunch of rice, a few veggies and like 4 or 5 miniature pieces of chicken. Like, miniature, i could barely see it. What a rip off, i couldve made a better soup at home. It was such a small portion, horrible and it took them like 45 minutes to deliver this.

I’ve ordered delivery via Seamless several times. The service is always great, and the food is delicious 90% of the time. I’m not a fan of their chili(way too heavy on the soyrizo) or their salads, but I strongly recommend the bowls. The mushroom«turkey» is so convincing that I once called Juice Hugger to make sure they hadn’t accidentally sent the halal chicken they offer. Yes, the portions are on the smaller side, but the pricing seems right for(primarily) vegan/vegetarian food of this quality. As far as beverages go, the Spicy Greens juice is AMAZING, as is the cashew coffee drink.

Warning! Warning! Do not order here unless you want to spend adult money on child portions and wait more than an hour for delivery. I ordered here TWICE. Both times it took 1.5 hrs. The food was in teeny tiny little cartoon character servings. It’s like I ordered a bunch of sides. My «pita wrap» was underwhelming — a side dish disguised as a main dish!!! I always support vegan friendly restaurants. But this place is a major disappointment. Finished my food … And I’m still hungry.

Came two hours after I ordered .I could have cooked a whole meal for much less and the portions were for a 5 year old .The delivery guy dropped all of my food on the floor which is a human mistake but still annoying especially after waiting all that time .it was not even good or exceptional .Just okay enough to be decent.

Unilocal nation, you have come through for the kid once more. I came looking for wheat grass shots on my way to work one evening. They don’t sell them, but I was offered a sample of and eventually purchased a bottle of the«Gogi green tea», and a «juicy greens». Both were tasty, pressed on site, and relatively inexpensive for the quality product they offer. I also bought two vegan chocolate chip cookies; they’re small, moist, and delicious. This joint is worth trying.

A quaint vegan café with a super-friendly staff and limited seating. Thankfully, I went here for the first time in the middle of the afternoon, so I was able to eat at the café. I ordered the cheesy bowl(aka mac n cheese) with«turkey», tomato soup, and 2 chocolate chip cookies. While I don’t eat vegan 100% of the time, I do eat vegetarian roughly 80% of the time and I’m always happy to try well-made vegan food … and this is REALLY well made vegan food! The moment I took my first bite, I knew that I was going to be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends(vegan or not!). I had to encourage myself to slow down and enjoy the flavor because it was just so good, I wanted to devour it. Also, the cookies were really good — crispy on the outside, but still moist on the inside and not grainy(a common issue for vegan sweets). I WILL be back — very soon.

The food here is tasty and healthy — I recommend the wraps. The juices are dope too — I always get the green one. Use the Unilocal deal to get $ 20 of credit for 10 bucks. My only complaint is that the service is kind of slow. You can call in your order ahead of time to avoid this problem, though.

I found out about this place through Unilocal as there don’t seem to be many cold pressed juice spots in Brooklyn. I ordered the Berry Brooklyn juice and a gluten free pizza — super impressed with both! The owner Carl and his staff(Erin) are super friendly and nice. It’s the great customer service that earns this place 5 stars
