I came in here to pick up a few things for my sister. It was my first time here and I was looking for a store that looked like the one shown on Unilocal.I passed here at least six times because I wasn’t sure this was the place because the white/red sign of the store name wasn’t there. After pacing back and forth looking for this store I finally found it. I went in and there were so much stuff! I asked a worker for help finding what I needed and he was so helpful. He knew exactly what I needed and showed me where it was too. He helped me out during my entire time there. I went to pay but there was a complication with their machines so checkout took a little longer than expected, but overall the experience coming here was great. Everyone who helped me was extremely kind and helpful. I would definitely come back again for more supplies.

Freaking awesome. A chef’s candyland. They have every baking pan and mold under the sun, and at reasonable prices too! If I didn’t need to get to work, I would have spent the whole day in here. I knocked them a star because they’re hours are challenging for us 9 – 5 folks, but other than that, I will definitely be back on a Sunday.

my favorite kitchen store in new york. vast selection of tools, with a focus on pastry but encompassing all kinds of cookware. prices are very competitive. i go to this store to buy things like ring molds, saucepans, and spiders. the last time i bought a spider, the marked price was wrong but they honored it anyway. staff is cool and very helpful, but let’s be real: this isn’t sur la table. the place caters to commercial chefs and bakers so it is assumed you know what you are looking for. they don’t carry the weird single-task tools you’ll find at a consumer kitchen shop, nor do they carry many appliances.(and the appliances they carry are, like, 50 gallon mixers and the kind of conveyor toasters they have at bagel places.) but if you need a high-quality, professional grade knife, baking tool, or pan, you can get it here for a low price. pro tip: there’s great dim sum at pacificana and east harbor, both about a mile east. kill two birds with one stone if you’re out in the middle of brooklyn.

Baker heaven ?! Yes it is. They have everything you need for baking. Boxes for your cake, cake stands, fondant, food coloring in a large variety of colors, gum paste, baking pans in all shapes and sizes, baking machines, decoration for cupcakes, you name it they got it. I swear this place is like heaven for a baker. The people here is very nice they helped me get whatever I needed and answered all my questions except for this one man when I asked for the hello kitty pan, he gave me a very disgusting attitude. :(. Prices here are pretty decent here. Some stuff here is slightly more expensive then party fair such as cake box and display stand. Love it here. Minus the fact that this dude was following all around the store trying to talk to me and asking me if i have a boyfriend haha ! Will definitely come back here.

I normally get my cake decorating and chocolate supplies online. I decided to give Kerekes(Bakedeco) a try. They appear to have everything! Even hard to find items. Their website is nicely designed and easy to navigate. I placed my order. One day later I got an email that there had been a problem with my order and that I needed to call Customer Service. When I did, I was asked if I could call back later because the girl was not at her desk. I explained that I wasn’t able to call back later and inquired if there was anybody else there to help me and I was put on hold for over 10 minutes. Each question I asked(how long would it take to ship my order? Is everything in stock? etc.) I would be put on hold again. I honestly got the feeling that I was annoying the Customer Service Rep(Melkye) and that she was trying to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. For my first experience with this company, it wasn’t a good one.

I get most of my bakery/chocolate supplies here and it’s the only supplier that actually has a walk in location so when I visit NY I love to go in and feel and touch. When I get back to CA I order everything.

They have tons of stuff. Tons. You name it, they probably have it, and if you are worried they might not, just call ahead and they’ll tell you. And it’s all slightly cheaper than places in Manhattan, for the obvious reason – it’s way the hell out in the middle of nowhere. Not that it’s hard to get there, the N and D trains stop at New Utrecht a couple of blocks away. The staff is pretty helpful, and they close early on Fridays and on Saturdays, but are open Sundays. Hey, it’s in Borough Park, what do you expect? If you’re on one of those train lines and you need some inexpensive spatulas on a Sunday, this is a much better option than trekking into Soho for the same stuff.
