Dear Kiev Bakery artists… Thanks a lot for your creativity and amazingly delishous cakes. Just got one and it’s awesome. Great job! Thank you for making my brother-​in-​law birthday so special.

Kiev Bakery did a custom cake for my daughter’s first birthday party this weekend and it was so beautiful I just had to share. They’ve done cakes for us before, and they were always beautiful, but this time they’ve oudone themselves. Truly. They have hands of gold. The amount of work, detail, art, craftsmanship and love that clearly went into making this cake is evident and incredible. I couldn’t believe my eyes. There were tiny flowers, butterflies, clocks, a teacup, the cheshire cat, and much much more. Each layer could’ve been its own beautiful cake. All of our guests were beyond impressed. There was a line at the party to take pictures with the cake! The guests are still talking about this cake. It looked amazing. And it tasted beyond expectations. Every layer was uniquely delicious and well matched to the other layers. We felt bad cutting it! I am freezing certain parts of it for memories and also to have in a couple of months. Can’t wait to have it again.

I’m mother Russia and I approve this message. Lol but seriously this famous local bakery earned its reputation for a very good reason: guaranteed fresh cakes. Many bakeries in Brooklyn tend to sell older cakes that stay on the shelf for a few days in order to get rid of it while Kiev always has fresh items to choose from. Majority of the cakes are Russian from napolean to a Russian chocolate mousse cake or pink mouse cake. You can also find many decent sized cakes for 8 – 10 people that have berries on top or assorted chocolate. They also have very good espresso cakes and tiramisu. And of course the Russian truffle cake I bought for 5 people with chocolate carved pears all around was a huge hit, for only 20 dollars: the chocolate and espresso cream filling was not too heavy and it worked well together. The most famous and authentic item this Ukrainian bakery is famous for is their yummy Kiev cake which I’ve had since I was a child, this includes buttercream and hazelnut filling, they make tons of these fresh and already packaged in a blue box. In addition you can find smaller assorted pastries like cookies and tarts if you want more of a variety. Many of my friends and family raved about the great personal cakes they make for special occasions, the price is right and the size is right, they make your visions come true. Also they take credit or debit cards too, major win !

Thanks to creative staff of Kiev Bakery my little twins got so much fun and pleasure on their 4^th birthday! All our guests were impressed and enjoyed this gorgeous delicious cake. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, KIEV BAKERY!!!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Rita and Yan for our wedding cake on September 20^th. Rita is not only talented but a very warm person, who took extra care do design a custom one of a kind 5 tier wedding cake with cascading white and rose petals. Not only was it stunning but it was absolutely delicious and we received tons of compliments.
I could not be happier that we chose Kiev Bakery for our special day :)

Wow wow wow!!! I came in to order a special custom cake at this location 4 days before my event. The lady was very nice friendly and knowledgable, she ok pictures of exactly what I wanted and said that the cake would be delivered right to the event. Sure enough the cake arrived and it was beautiful. They did a great job and made exactly what I asked for for a great price too! Thank you so much Kiev bakery for a delicious beautiful camera cake. The bakery itself is great. The staff and experience is lacking the completion of five stars, but it doesnt take away from their goods and doesn’t deter repeat visits.
The one time we got a cake there for our son’s birthday, it was delicious. Exactly as it was on the picture we picked it out from, two separate layers made differently, and very delicious and good quality.
The pre-​made stuff on the shelves is fresh and delicious. Spur cream cakes are very good. And all of it is very fairly prices (except for the special order custom cakes, those get pricey).
The staff usually (not always) just seem like they dont care to or want to help. Leaving you with a feeling like you’re annoying them and shouldn’t ask the extra question. So if you’re going there for world class customer service you will be extremely disappointed. If you’re going there for delicious sweets, you will be pleasantly satisfied.

I recently bought a large Tiramisu cake for my dad’s birthday from Kiev Bakery and everyone really liked it. The lady at the counter was really helpful. She helped me narrow down the size and explained what each cake was made out of. I’ll definitely return. I didn’t know they made specialty cakes until I walked in, but based on pictures they seem pretty good.

We always get our cakes here and they never disappoint. From taking my order to the day of pickup, everyone was very accommodating for my special order for my son’s 1^st bday. Cake tasted phenomenal and was beautiful. People kept asking me who made my cake and how beautiful it was. A very happy customer here! I definitely recommend this place.

We used Kiev Bakery for our baby shower and were so thrilled with what we got. The cake was two tier, delicious, creative and gorgeous. The execution of all the fine details was great, and it was really a big hit. Will definitely work with this business again and recommend to friends!

Every Russian has grown up eating Kiev bakery cakes. They are delicious and come in a variety of great flavors. My friends ordered me cake for my bday, and it was absolutely gorgeous! It was a huge Chanel bag :) Absolute perfection. Highly recommend!

Don’t be put off by the name of this bakery for fear of the staff speaking only Russian — They have fluent English & their customer service is exceptional.
They want you to describe in as much detail what you envisage for your cake because they take great pride in giving their customers exactly what they have ordered. They literally take your dream cake from your mind & creat it!
We were so pleased with our Engagement Cake we have now placed an order for my Bridal Shower with Kiev Bakery & we also intend to have them creat our Wedding Cake.

The worst experience I ever had, the worst cake I ever seen. It made me cry when I saw ugly cake at my party it was soooo ugly that I was shoked and taste horrible

Few days ago, Kiev Bakery baked a cake for my son’s Bar Mitzvah. It was not an easy task. He wanted his cake to look like a picture of Lamborghini that he printed from the internet and, most importantly, he didn’t want it to look childish like the other car-​cakes he had seen.
Well… my son was very happy with his cake. He asked me to call Kiev Bakery and say a special thank you to the baker, whose name I do not know. I also want to say thank you to Natasha, who took my order at a very late notice and gave me some good suggestions.

We ordered a custom Harry Potter themed cake for abat mitzvah. It looked like stacked books with a quidich ball on top. Itwas gorgeous, huge and the red velvet flavour was to die for. I have been a loyal customer for 22 years. They did my wedding cake and they put their soul in what they do.

I use bakery Kiev for our main family invents during past 4 years. The cakes are always beautiful and delicious! And the prices are very reasonable, especially comparing with other places. I love the way bakery handle their customers. All I need to do is to place a call and send a picture of the cake I want them to reproduce. Special thanks to the lovely lady– Zhenia, who is always very friendly and cooperative and to the creative owner– Rita, who follows all our requests and makes cakes even more beautiful than on a picture.
During our parties we get huge amount of complements on a cake from all guests.
I definitely would recommend Kiev bakery!!!

This is one of the few remaining completely family run bakeries. The owners are caring and attentive to detail. My friends had a beautiful cake made from there for my baby shower. It was adorable and delicious!

Positive: They cake was ok. But I have tried better ones.
Negative: Customer service! Despite the lack of english, they DON’T know typical «Thank you» or «You are welcomes». I left very upset. And thats not how I wanna feel when I am spending money at your business!
And of course, I would NOT suggest people to go there. They have only bad reviews on yahoo actually. I regret that I did not look at them before I went.
