I usually don’t frequent lower Brooklyn, due to transportation issues and not knowing too many people around there. I happened to be at a friends house, and we decided to stop by here and get pizza because it was close by. I got a salad slice, and my friend got garlic knots and those fried dough crullers with powdered sugar. It was $ 3.50, average slice price. I got vinaigrette to go with it, and the salad slice didn’t have cheese or sauce… It was literally salad on top of a triangle of dough. Disappointing, as I have had much better versions. Don’t think I would drop by anytime soon.

The pizza is always wonderful and a true joy to gobble up, however their tomato sauce for their other specialities leaves much to be desired. Way too much sugar added; not the kind of sauce that I find desireable. Solly !

In my opinion, there’s not a lot of tasty delivery in this part of Brooklyn… but we order delivery from here at least once a week and absolutely love their plain pie! The flavors are delicious between the cheese-sauce-crust ratio and almost always do they deliver it still hot! They have great customer service too and really know how to make their customers feel loved.

Great pizza joint. Chick Vodka slices have been a friday tradition since my office moved close to here. Owners are super funny and extremely nice. I have never had a bad slice and they have tons to choose from.

Their«Sofia Lauren» aka fresh mozzarella pizza is yum. Very light and tasty. The regular cheese pizza is pretty good too, one of the better choices in the neighborhood. Last time we ordered half buffalo chicken, half pepperoni pie — the buffalo chicken was way too salty, couldn’t eat more than one bite. Overall, good pizza… friendly staff.

Just ordered a vegetable pan pizza. Would have been nice if it had some cheese on it. Come on! If you’re not going to put cheese on a pizza, you have to let folks know ahead of time. Some descriptions of the pizzas would have easily remedied this unfortunate situation. Probably won’t be ordering from this place again for fear of another cheeseless pizza. On a positive note, the delivery was fast.

Holy hidden gem! It was so good, I went back 3 times in 1 day! Pizza: the Grandma Slice and the eggplant slice. The crust is unique… it’s crispier, thinner and a little less dough-y compared to other places and it was delicious! The grandma slice has just enough garlicky flavor in the sauce. Décor: Classic old school tacky NYC corner pizzeria décor. It’s a thing of beauty. We stumbled upon this place because we were visiting a friend nearby. The wife and I wish a place like this existed near us. We would probably eat there every week!

I order from this place all the time. I have them deliver to my house. I usually tend to order a large pizza pie that is half mushroom and half pepperoni. The service can be slow at times but are usually on time. Their prices are reasonable and the food does fill you up. One thing that you have to stress to them when you order are any spices you wish to have such as garlic. They usually don’t bring it if you don’t tell them. The food doesn’t taste the same without the spices :/ Their pizza is definitely better in terms of quality when comparing to places such as Dominos. This is because they use their time wisely and focus on the quality rather than time. The pizza is crunchy and hot when you bite in. #Yum :) Either than that, the service is friendly and I would definitely order from this place if you live around.

This is a review for their delivery, I have never been at the place. I ordered chicken salad(small) and hot hero of veal and mushrooms. The delivery came in time, and the food was warm. The chicken salad was ok. Fresh and enough amount of chicken. The hero on the other side wasn’t good. I actually ended empty the content and ate only the toasted bread which was actually ok! Lol They added few small home made donuts which actually were the great and really improved the experience of ordering deliver from knapp pizza. I may try them again in the future, but for sure not the hero. Which has a great potential since the hero itself is crispy and delicious, just the content isn’t good enough.

Worst delivery ever! The man was 2 hours late… Then he over charged me compared to the price I was given on the phone… After all that he harassed me via text message. The pizza is decent but not worth the emotional turmoil.

Rice balls, chicken Marsala Slice(and entrée) very good. Baked clams ehhhhh, a bit chewy. The penne ala vodka with chicken taste like they put cinnamon in the vodka sauce which Grossed me out. Cinnamon and vodka sauce NOT a good mix.

I never been inside here but one of my co workers recommend on me trying it because she eats it. I’ve tried the pizza and it was good nothing special. I also tried a few different panini’s from here and they were really good. The bread isn’t like a normal panini bread it has some seasoning on it that’s really good. Also the grilled chicken caesar salad wrap is really good they give so much and they put it in a pita type bread which is different but really good at the same time.

I absolutely love Knapp! They make delicious pizza, pasta, and mean garlic knots, plus the guys who work here are super friendly. Even if I didn’t live within walking distance, I’d be willing to make a trip here for a slice.

The Margarita pizza is incredible and somehow their zeppolies are so perfectly brown but not too oily. I tried to ask the owner(I think) his recipe and he refused to give it up — just told me to skip oil in the dough. He is a nice guy. I still cant tell wether they are Albanian or Italian but I guess it’s irrelevant since the pizza tastes authentic!

Perhaps the reason my tastes are more refined than most in the Arts & Sciences, is that a place such as this resides 1 street away and I thought this was the normal; as I traveled the world, and all all over the rest of Brooklyn TOO, I found the most divine food right on my own corner. It’s like Kansas. Their store name is titled«III» s’far as i’m concerned, it’s #1. The eggplant is done the way it’s most decadent, and the broccolli rabe is my chicken soup, warning, it can seem bitter if you’ve not acquired the taste. Delicious. The price… is well worth the fine delicacy.

I grew up in Bensonhurst Brooklyn my whole life and if there is one thing about Bensonhurst that’s guaranteed is that you will find a pizzeria on every block. Being that pizza and pasta are so easy to find here I’ve been skeptical about where I get my food because I have the option to. Knapp Street pizza on Kings is literally the best pizza in Bensonhurst! All of their pasta dishes are amazing and even their philly cheese steak sandwiches are to die for among all the other sandwiches! I literally order take out from here 3 days a week because it’s never a miss it’s always a hit! Also, they have outstanding delivery service and are ways quick.

So I join my friends for an early dinner on New Years Eve. They eat here every Wednesday but for me it was my first time. It is a very busy, friendly pizza restaurant with a lot of good food in addition to the pizza. I had a sausage, onions and peppers hero. They give you a huge portion that tasted very good, though I personally prefer a more spicy sausage. The tomato sauce was excellent and must have been made in house. My meal came with Italian bread and an olive oil and garlic dip but since I was still(sort of) on a low carb diet, I opted for my hero without bread and also bypassed the Italian bread and oil. But then in honor of New Years Eve, they had a table of(free!) top shelf liquors and cookies. Uh oh… good bye diet until next year… which luckily is tomorrow! My friends had the pasta and clams which they loved. The pizza looked good and from the number that went out the door, I am sure is quite well made. So thank you Knapp Pizza III for very good food, friendly service and making my New Year’s Eve a whole lot more fun!

I love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was 15 and now every time when I come home on leave, I make sure to grab a slice at this place. The food is great and their pizza is one the best in America(I’ve traveled a lot). If you have a chance, visit this place :)

Never have I had such a bad experience ordering food. I ordered pizza and wings, simple, right? Well when the guy got here the pizza was soggy and greasy and the wings had no sauce. When I called the guy told me I should have specified that I wanted sauce. Though I was angry I always try to keep my voice at a polite, reasonable tone. When I asked him if he could send the sauce over or give me a credit he actually started screaming at me. Who yells at a customer unprovoked like that? I was trying to be reasonable with this guy and he had me to the point where I was nearly in tears. I thought it could just be me taking things too personally or something, but even my roommate(who was in the room listening) was floored by how rude and just plain mean this guy was. He claimed to be the boss, but I just don’t understand how you can stay in business and treat your customers that way. As far as the food itself: Wings: Small, greasy and fatty. Almost inedible without sauce. Pizza: Greasy, floppy, cold by the time it got here. Not very flavorful. Root Beer: Okay, they got this right… but it’s hard to screw up a 20oz soda in a bottle. Best part of the meal. I say don’t order from here. The man who runs the place is very hostile and the food is mediocre ATBEST. There are a lot of other good places in this area, don’t waste your time and money.
