Friendly crowd for the Crystal Room dance. If you are xenophobic, this is not the place for you. All different cultures mingle and dance to world music (pretty good rhythms mostly). The crowd is late 40s and up, mostly Russian, Eastern European, Latin, Israeli, etc. With the admission price you get your choice of coffee or tea and some crappy stale cake. But that is ok, we are all here to just dance not eat, right?
The bar is reasonably priced and drinks are a bit watered down but for the price you can’t expect much. There is a parking lot, but you have to get there early to take advantage of the free parking.
I would recommend this place for a cheap night out

Knights of Columbis hosts a variety of events throughout the year. The important part for most of us is their parking lot!
They use the lot to sell seasonal items, during Christmas they have some of the best assortments of trees and wreaths. They also use the lot during Easter and Valentines Day.
It’s a pain to drive up this block when the lot is selling seasonal items because people double park but it’s a good place to check out

Three (3) beautiful party rooms accommodating small to large size events in The Terrace Lounge, Columbian Room and The Crystal Room. Each room is equipped with a bar for your beverage needs.
Catering is provided by your choice of several different AMAZING local caterers as well as fine pastries and confectionery products from one of Brooklyn’s top local bakeries. The bars service bottled and on– tap beers, sodas, top shelf liquors and other beverages. Tablecloth and chair covering décor is available in a variety of colors and styles.
The wait service is top notch. The House Chairman and Office staff are very accommodating and helpful. The parking lot is large enough to accommodate all party visitors. Security and/​or valet services can also be provided. Other entertainment vendors can be recommended if needed.
This building is in a great location and really wonderful for all types of events. I would highly recommend that you check it out when thinking of planning that next party or meeting place. Hourly rates are also available.
