L Train Cafe

This one? really? sort of an okay place to go get some shit done… i can remember i was there and looked outside and saw the cutiest girl with the most cute doggie… dreamy… totally bumped the place up to 3 stars. yay girl & dog… thats about all i remember.

Steer clear of this little café off the L train! That is, in case you just want a nice fresh squeezed juice-​which are much better than Sunac any day!
But upon buying the «gorgeous salad» I was surprised to see two tiny to-​go containers in my bag (they ran out of large containers, and ran out of tofu and chicken that day), filled with wilted and slimy greens, browned avocado, and overall everything had a onion flavor although there were no onions… This will probably be my last trip to the L train café…

I have long lamented the lack of a good bagel place near the Lorimer L stop and was happy to find that oft-​closed Crest Café has been replaced by an inexpensive bagel /​coffee juice bar combo. The special bagels (usually some combination of avocado, misc. veggies and cream cheese) are a steal, but the juice bar is a little pricier than I’d love. On my first two visits I found the coffee a bit lacking, but the cozy narrow café was a great placed to read a book for an hour.
