Dr. Lax is an amazing dentist and is also very ethical and honest, qualities which are hard to come by these days. I have been to other dentists since my move out of Brooklyn but I ended up going back to Dr. Lax, despite the travel inconvenience because he is worth the trip. I was told by another high profile manhattan dentist that I had cavities and needed wisdom teeth pulled. Reluctant to have any type of work done without a second opinion, I went to Dr. Lax who told me that I have no cavities and to not even think about getting my wisdom teeth pulled if there is no discomfort. Bottom line, he put me the patient over making money.
