*Thursday One star for hospitality And one star for effort (minus 1 for bug) I came in for acrylics, I had to my nails were and are helpless. There were only 2 ladies doing nails and 2 doing pedicures. Um. I showed her I wanted them rectangular and thin. 1– She did not exactly file my natural nails 2– She layered way to much acrylic, they were too thick my nails looked like duck bills 3– I had to keep telling her to fill them both thinner and skinner, they looked like DUCKBILLS! 4– The acrylic looks like actual fake nails, other places they blend the cuticle with acrylic(seriously they do) 5– My cuticles are still trash For $ 25 I guess. I pay usually $ 50 – 60 so I should have seen it, only three weeks and I’m heading to Angel Nail Salon in Bay Ridge… that metro far has to be worth it! p. s. these little girls were trying to kill a medium sized roach near the dryers…

This is the best place on 18ave to do nails. I always try and look for Lisa or Jessica. They are the best. Always professional and makes my nails look great. There are always new girls but they seem to lack what Lisa and Jessica do. Great Mani pedi!

My nails look good but service was rushed. I got a gel pedicure. I handed credit card to pay, I was asked for ID when I gave valid ID they did not accept. They didn’t understand my card was a credit card. I said I’d go get cash. I left when I came out of ATM vestibule at Citibank, nail tech was waiting outside for me. Definitely hurt my feelings, this was supposed to be a relaxing trip after a anxiety ridden doctors appointment.

I would like to give this nail salon 5 stars but my bleeding cuticles won’t let me. The staff is friendly & the place is clean. The manicurist used the a nail file machine on my cuticles, yes at first I was hesitant as I have never seen that machine used to remove cuticles. I should have stopped her right away, my cuticles bleed the whole day & as she was finishing up I was still bleeding she try to ignore it as if she did not see it.

This is my new favorite nail salon. I’ve been to several, but I love this one because of the skill of the nail tech(Jenny?). The way she shapes and polishes my nails is just perfect, and it lasts forever. The salon itself is pretty basic with a very small selection of colors. I just bring my own. They use Essie base and topcoats. It’s also only $ 17 for mani and pedi and right across the street from the subway station.

I am new to the area but after one visit I have decided Like It will be my «go to» nail salon. I got a French Mani & Pedi for only $ 23!!! Wendi did my nails, she did a great job. It was a Saturday afternoon and I just walked in and was helped within a few mins. I definitely will be a returning customer!

This place opened a few years ago. So I’d say it’s been about four years that I have been going. I frequent the salon once a month for a manicure and pedicure. I never have to make an appointment… I walk in and get quick service always. They will even add on an incredible foot and leg massage if you so desire. After all this time I have come accustomed to Jessica, but all the woman are talented. Ow and I forgot to mention. mani and pedi for under $ 25. bucks. Over all, this place is clean, quick without an appointment, and inexpensive!!!
