Went to a great «Dubai Underground» dinner at Like the Spice, in conjunction with Mezze Art, and it turned out to be a very special night of art, conversation, delicious food and fun.
The gallery hosts dinners throughout the year, with the artists speaking about their own works and collections. It really adds a story to the work and sparks interesting conversations about the materials, themes and process.

You have one more week to catch Dubai Underground, a compact group show at Like the Spice Gallery in Brooklyn.
Metaphysical black and white photographs and gaudy collages mocking the basic Pop Art iconography hold the spotlight.
The staff is helpful and friendly. Nice vibe.

Our friends had their work shown («After Everything») here last night. It was my first time coming here and I thought it was a cute out of the way space. I liked the show it was good organization and the turn out was so good we were spilling out onto the sidewalks.
The art is good so you should stop by and take a look.
