Walking in Brooklyn Bridge park, my 7 year old was thirsty, look up and see Lizzmonade… she chose the watermelon and cucumber iced tea. It came with a jubo size straw that was definately needed due to the huge chunks of watermelon. When we left I was wishing I grabbed one for myself also… excellent drink… If you don’t mind paying $ 5.50 for iced tea. Next time I’m around I’ll be trying another flavor.

Good to have somewhere in the park to stop and take a bit of rest. They only sold lemonade here, however you can customize it as many ways as you want. Four flavors — strawberry, pear, mint or basil. Either lemonade or tea or half and half. Sweetness can be adjusted as well. Love it!

Dearest Lizzmonade, It’s been three weeks and I’m still having vivid daydreams about our bittersweet love affair. I have never met a more perfect lemonade in my lifetime. And if you know me well enough, you know I’m the type to ask«how sour/sweet is your lemonade?» before I commit. I am the gal who looks for the most puckering, sour/tangy lemonade out there… because I know what I want. When I met you, I wasn’t sure what to expect as every experience is different. It took 0.3 seconds after the first initial sip to know that I AMYOURS, ALLYOURS. Do with me as you please, all I ask is that you remain sour/tart and this love will flourish for eternities to come. I combined your refreshing taste with cut up peaches and mint, and omg it has been the best decision I’ve ever made that still haunts me today. I am in California and though our love affair was short lived, I am waiting for you. I am waiting to return to the East Coast and taste you all over again. Ecstatically awaiting our next affair, Evelyn

It was a super HOT day of walking, what felt like all over Brooklyn, when I saw this little oasis near the ferry drop off. There was a little bit of a wait, about 10min… but the reward was refreshing! I ‘made’ my own & got blueberry mint with regular sugar, which was the suggestion of the cashier(FYI they do have a few other sweetener options). I was wary of the sugar because we’ve all had those super sweet lemonades & also bc I am trying my darnedest to cut back, but a sweetener is definitely needed as it would be waaaayyy too tart without. Lizzmonade… refreshingly not too sweet not too tart options of amazing ness!!!

The lemonade is really refreshing but at $ 5 a pop I’m not completely feeling it :(This location also doesn’t serve alcohol(sangria!!!) until 6 pm haha. I was so thirsty and sweaty that I had to stop and get a lemonade today so I chose to get the blackberry one«half naked» aka less sweet! It was just the perfect amount of tang + sweetness that it was really refreshing! The fruit pieces made it fun to drink also.

Refreshing, healthy-ish, and lots of flavors to mix in, cool idea.

The lemonade is so refreshing I could feel it detoxing my body system. I really like their mix of fruits/vegetables with the lemon extract. I got the basil cucumber lemonade. The ingredients perfectly complement each other. There was no «fight for taste.» Even for $ 5 a cup, I will try the other flavors the next time I am here for Smorgasburg.

Right next to Brooklyn ice Cream Factory, this place has its own following. They have a nice selection of lemonade flavors infused with fruits and herbs. You can also choose from their full naked n half naked(artificial sweeteners n half sugar/sweetener) options. But this refreshing drink doesn’t comes cheap($ 5)

The watermelon lemonade was pretty bad. It is also overpriced. The lady acted as if she was doing me a favor by taking my money. Save space for bottled water instead…

Stopped by here while in Brooklyn Bridge Park. I can easily say this is way overpriced however when it’s super hot and you want something refreshing it will hit the spot. I had the blackberry lemonade with agave as the sweetener and it was delicious. I would def. love to try the regular lemonade as well but that day I was in the mood for something a little different.

Overpriced lemonade but it’s worth the price on a hot day. I got a blueberry and blackberry lemonade. I need to go back for more!

I was wondering why the line was so long. So, I’ve decided to give it a try. I got the watermelon basil. It was good and refreshing. My sister got the watermelon mint which was ok. I think the basil just made the drink better. Would come back to try the other flavor.

This is really overpriced lemonade(~$ 5 each), but it’s so refreshing on a hot summer day that I didn’t mind at all. The flavor of the day was basil cucumber lemonade and I absolutely loved it! They put in just the right amount of basil so that it didn’t overpower the lemonade taste, and the cucumber chunks were a nice touch. I would love to try their other drinks!

Over $ 5 for 20 fl. oz. of ice with lemonade? You bet your ass I’m baffled. Well, that was my first impression after ordering. In terms of friendliness, service is polite. In terms of speediness, though, I may be biased because of this sweltering late August/early September humidity, but they were pretty slow in preparing and shaking up like a bartender a drink that should take less than 2 minutes. I could see them at work; it was a simple case of understaffing, with a small lack of preparation. Everyone is around 20 years old; in short, it all looks like an amateur show of post-child labor. I also saw a quarter cup of white sugar being added to each serving with its shot of lemon juice. I ought to know better than complain about this – I mean, I drank it anyway(hey, I was thirsty) – but geez almighty, really, people? Turns out, that’s what we’re used to. Yep, my «Coolcumber» lemonade with basil and cucumber was a good, cold, refreshing iced lemonade drink that was just right in sweetness, and to balance the tartness it had THAT much added sugar in it. Maybe I just have to accept this. Still, at the end of the day, they have got to do better in meeting the lines that form in the climate of this time of year.

Concept wise and location wise, Lizzmonade really hits the mark. Freshly muddled fruit in your lemonade in interesting and intriguing combinations and their ice cold servings are perfect for a hot summer day. But at $ 5-$ 8 a glass, I should have an entire watermelon(or 2) in my drink!

I didn’t order a lemonade while I was here, but my friend did, hence the check-in. From what I remember, she ordered a strawberry something lemonade, which was expensive as fuck, and I personally don’t think the drink-to-ice ratio was worth it. I had a few sips, but it wasn’t towards my personal liking. It was okay, I guess.

I was sooo looking forward to Lizzmonade opening for the season! Last year, one of the owners came to my table and we had a great chat over my watermelon lemonade that was refreshing and absolutely delish! Saw the menu was written a bit differently as I asked for the ‘made by order’ drink; decided to add their portobello sliders to munch on… I’ll admit– it too was very tasty… However, in the plump slider bun was 1 thin slice of portobello, a leaf of lettuce and some sort of cheese sauce! The 2nd and 3rd one had 2 smaller slices… Ok, it was tasty — and the added fresh pineapple slices were awesome… But C’mon Now… As you can see from my photo — I wouldn’t have guessed it was a portobello sandwich n would ask where/what the main attraction was… if I didn’t order it myself by name! It simply looks like a garnish… along with the lettuce! :( The requested ½ sugar~Watermelon Lemonade was lovely, tasty, refreshing and just… perfect!

Situated along the Brooklyn Bridge Park under the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and BQE sits the parks newest addition, Lizzmonade, a «pop-up» pool, and a beach lounge area. It’s quite possible that none are permanent features but then again it maybe around for years to come on a seasonal basis. Lizzmonade is a small stand that features a small menu of bites(sliders/salad/tacos), juices, beer, and wine. Some of the prices are reasonable given the enviornment(like $ 6 beers) while others are complete rip-offs like charging $ 1 for a tiny(8oz I believe) bottle of poland spring water or 75 cents for a little cup of ice. I enjoyed sitting on the comfortable beach chairs, feet in the soft clean sand and drinking my beer but would have enjoyed it more had the hum of the BQE not been so loud. The best part is this all is open until 11pm so if you time it correctly you’re able to have the place to yourself. The pop up pool adjoining Lizzmonade(closes at 6pm) is a nice addition to the park but isn’t something I’m interested in checking out. The pool admission is by wristband only. The swim times are broken up into 45min increments and they kick everyone out of the pool for 15 minutes. Wristbands are free(limited to 60) but are handed out 30 minutes prior to the swim«sessions». Got that? Let me put it another way, you have to show up 30minutes early, wait, and then are allowed in the pool for 45 minutes. The pool is small(30×50′) and is only 3.5′ deep. If you still want to check out the pool and aren’t a young black child, you might stick out like a sore thumb, it wasn’t a very diverse crowd in the water. The beachy lounge area was a different story though, ain’t nobody got time for $ 18oz waters. I may be back if I hear good things about their food or if I have the hankering to dig my feet into some non cigarette/glass laden sand normally found in NYC. Otherwise, I’m content with sneaking in some beer and having a BBQ in one of the grills a couple hundred yards down the park.
