Good people, great music. My go to place in the neighborhood to unwind, play some pool or get the party started. Sweet local art on the walls that you can buy.

Great for happy hour to play a game of pool! Cool group of regulars willing to teach you how to play! Great looking space too.

My coworkers and I had an amazing first experience here back in 2014. Awesome bartender. .really cool played whatever we wanted to hear. Another visit there and the owner was around and we asked to hear bachata so we could dance and the bartender ignored us after asking a third time he told me «my boss doesn’t want me to play it». Fifteen to twenty people out spending money at your establishment during an empty happy hour and you deny us music. …never again Somehow we end up here again and play a few games of pool to only discover that outside the sign says free pool after paying for several games so we question it and instead of honoring what the sign says they ignore us… we leave and they proceed to follow us out and erase it… i believe the owner of this establishment is just plain nasty with absolutely no personality… best of luck

House music + great pool leagues. If you like either or both(as well as drinks), it’s definitely entertaining.

LP& Harmony has to be among my top 5 favorite affordable/pool bars in all NYC. Reminiscent of the now closed Dusk on 24th street in Chelsea with its mosaic mirrors, LP’s bathroom walls and bar top feature, as per its moniker, LPs… if anyone knows what those are anymore. You’ll encounter a friendly and diverse clientele from the neighborhood and elsewhere, as well as two well cared-for pool tables, a backyard patio, featured artists’ work and rotating DJs. To be commended also, are the great drink specials and personable and hip bar staff. Additionally, and a delightful plus, you’ll almost always run into owner Jed and her DJ husband, as well as their dad, a former professional pool player and bowler, who’s always willing to give helpful game tips. A must-stop off the WillyB. See you there!

I went to LP on a Monday night and had the best time with my friends. First of all the pool tables were free, second of all the happy hour ran all night. Third of all the service was so friendly I can’t wait to go back there. I highly recommend this place!!!

I remember the first time I ever walked into this bar shortly after it opened(in 2011 I think?), a friend and I were walking past and saw two large pool tables, and decided to stop in, as both of us enjoyed playing. I was impressed with the overall feel and design of the space — I asked the woman working about the gorgeous bar-top, which has records embedded in resin — turned out she was Jede, part-owner with her husband John, and that they had made it themselves, as well as led the design for everything else — they had a clear vision and the love they put into the space is palpable. I asked about the name of the bar, «LP&Harmony» — turns out it’s a play on words — combining the musical LP, and«love peace and harmony». Even the bathrooms have full size murals of mermaids and sea-gods(random, but perfect). Little did I know that this bar would become a home away from home for me — the staff are wonderful, love their jobs, and I love the quality of pool players in the bar — it can be intimidating but it’s a solid group of regulars that will be found most nights for pool league, and on the weekends there’s always a DJ spinning great music. Also, free poker on Friday nights, one of the main reasons I started going often. All in all, a little bit of everything, music, pool, poker, beautiful spacious space and good drinks at decent prices. This place is unique and has a spirit in a way that no other bar in the neighborhood is, and I am so grateful to live so close.

My husband runs a DJ night here every other weekend. It’s sort of strange having the billiards in the front and the DJ booth in the back, but the space is big enough to execute both pretty well. The beer is super cheap. Great deals. The crowd is pretty mixed, but the vibe is pretty chill. Check it out.

Horrible service! The people are awesome but the stuff… rude and condescending! Wish I could find it no stars at all!

It was okay. I liked the music, the place is kind of small though. There are two pool tables and very small dance floor. Sadly, I wasn’t able to play pool, it was crowded on July 4th. The drinks are priced reasonably, but when I asked for a Bud Light, they gave me a Bud Light Platinum with Lime. Not sure why, I’m not complaining though. The people are super friendly here, and I met a lot of great people. I will definitely come back here when I’m in Brooklyn.

Bouncers were so rude to me and my friends. Plus the place was empty and had bad drinks. We left after ten minutes. I just don’t think it’s worth going.

Fun to go to for DJ music and a little dancing. People are friendly and cool with eachother. Made some new friends and the drinks are reasonably priced. Friday and Saturdays are the best.

LP& Harmony’s a decent place. I stopped by for a drink and a game of pool. The caliber of pool player was significantly above average. The folks playing the tables were of the I-came-with-my-own-equipment variety, and made very quick work of the stray casual player. My drink pour was generous, and the music was decent. Working against all of this was the fact that the bar was relatively empty. Other places on the same street had a more lively crowd.

I came with a friend to meet another friend this past summer for a house music party that started early in the evening. I wasn’t too impressed with the set he was playing and the speakers were blaring at such a volume, one couldn’t even have a conversation with a person two feet away. Nonetheless, people were dancing. The crowd was mixed: from the older«paradise garage» heads to couples to the 20 something party people. Some folks even brought their small children to which I had mixed emotions about. We stayed a while, but gave our ears a rest by stepping outside to the back patio where they were grilling burgers and hotdogs for a few bucks each. After a quick bite, I left neutral, but not completely resistant to the idea of coming back. Fast forward a few months. A friend and I walked in on a random Sunday where a DJ was playing a much more soulful(and dance-able) house music set that I enjoyed a whole lot more than what I heard during the summer. The crowd was chilled out, a bit more mature and with no little kids this time(a few dogs, but I don’t mind). It’s clear the place caters to many interests, so you’ll definitely find an interesting assortment of people here. On any given day, you’re likely to see two TV’s showing sports near the bar, a crowd engaged in a pool tournament towards the front and music lovers scattered about. People are generally nice here and seem to be having a good time«doing their thing», whatever that may be.

I have been here a couple of times the last couple of weeks for Free Poker. I might be a regular if I lived in the area. Bar has a nice feel. It has a welcoming vibe. I just have not been here when the place is just a Bar with no poker, but people seem to have fun.

Sometimes I like it, sometimes I dont! Love that they have live DJs playing dance, house, rap and a little salsa and merengue! Don’t always like the dominance of the pool tables, and don’t like when they have the house parties and the music is simply too loud! I love the friendly staff, ability to watch tv/football and bball, and even get up and shake your stuff down to the ground when the DJs beats get to you! Also nice that this is in Bklyn and a neighborhood feel! No velvet ropes here! Tip… On big dance party days they may offer a ticket with each drink for a free hot dog or burger if they are grilling!

Amazing place to meet a very eclectic crowd of people! Beautiful backyard with a fountain made of old drift wood. They actually open at 8AM, serving coffee roasted in Italy and French press Guatemalan blends. The coffee is delicious! And they do latte art! And if you really want, get an Irish coffee(even that early in the morning… they dont judge, yay!)They say food is coming soon. The staff is friendly as can be even in very crowded situations. Frozen drinks in the summer time. Ask the bartender to make a fun concoction and you’ll never be disappointed. Small doggies welcome in the back as long as theyre not yappers. APA leagues on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday(8-Ball) and Monday night 9-Ball leagues with a free BBQ(summer time). Come have a drink with me!
