Nice, fairly clean establishment with very helpful and friendly employees! They use a card system similar to the subway that must be topped up with cash only. Small washers are $ 2, large are $ 3.50. Dryers are .30 for 8 minutes or .40 for 8 minutes.

I go there since it’s the closest laundromat to my place. However, the staff are nice and attentive and even when it’s busy I’m never in much for much of a wait for a washer or dryer. I’ve done my own laundry and have done drop-off. Both services are great.

Super friendly and efficient; good prices; fold your clothes very neatly and consistently. I’ve been using them for pound laundry for more than a year now. Highly recommend!

These guys are very quick and very nice but most clothes come back shrunken. I’ve asked several times for them to dry my clothes on low heat but I don’t think they pay attention to it.

Clean, efficient, friendly, with new, spotless machines. We have used several times and are completely satisfied.

Machines look clean and relatively new. Modern card system. No quarters needed. On a Tuesday night I didn’t have to wait for any machines. Only con is there is a very small sitting area for waiting. I can see that being a problem on the weekends. Other than that, good spot.

Out of all the laundromats I’ve been to in my life this has got to be my fav. They are super polite and extremely helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone that asked for a good place to wash clothes.

Of the four or five laundromats on either side of Empire Blvd along Nostrand Ave, Lucky is the best. It’s on a block with three independent storefront churches of self-invented denominations, so it is not only lucky, but blessed. The Chinese family that runs it is well-adjusted to the Americanized and West Indian clients. The block boasts a prominent Haitian presence, with many people utilizing the public convenience of seeing people they know, so you can pick up fragments of sometimes-animated Kreyol conversations shouted from stoops into parked Livery car’s windows as their drivers take a break from droll rides. The mother who co-runs the wash shop is friendly and not overbearing. She watches out for her customers, guiding them to available or soon-to-be available machines, appeasing with offerings of empty trollies. Dialogue is brief, but usually bouncy and encouraging. The owners aren’t chasing anyone out at closing time, and can still be gracious when most people’s resources expired long ago. Machines are cheap enough and work. If you have the coins, drop off service is 60-cents a pound. The space is deep and narrow, so cart congestion is common. The single wall of dryers stays hot like a wall in a beehive.
