I wanted to love this place because it’s close to my house and I like supporting neighborhood shops. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I took in a winter coat to get relined and a button fixed on a Saturday morning and was impressed with the price I was charged. I was told to return Tuesday evening. On Thursday evening, two days later than when I was told, I popped in to get my coat. I was told they hadn’t started working on it yet and to return on Tuesday. Ok… kind of annoyed but figured it wasn’t a huge deal. I returned on Tuesday evening and my coat was ready as promised. Upon closer inspection, they’d relined it but missed the pockets, so the old holes were still there. The button on front was sewn inside out, so you have to twist the top of the coat so it can actually shut(basically, unusable). I guess I got what I paid for. Won’t be back.

Walk into this small neighborhood storefront and see four men at work on sewing machines. The owner, Sherif, sits in front and is helpful and kind. Five pairs of pants hemmed at a very reasonable price. He didn’t have the job ready in time, so I waited for him to finish. That didn’t matter much to me because I wasn’t in a rush, he did good work, and they also seem really busy. I’m glad to support this local business and to make it known on Unilocal
