Our beautiful Mark Jupiter coffee table, made from a tree that fell in Brooklyn, was damaged when the ceiling of our condo fell on it after a pipe burst in our building. Mark refinished it and graciously held onto it for several months until we finished reconstruction. It is even more beautiful than before! Working with Mark and his staff is a total pleasure. I visit the workshop regularly to see his artistic productions. I just wish I had a bigger apartment so we could purchase another unique piece. Thanks Mark and staff!

We just recently purchased a table from Mark Jupiter. The table was custom made, and Mark let us be an integral part of selecting the type of wood, finish and metal base. We had a fun time talking over our decision with him, and he guided us along throughout. It’s really nice to purchase something that we will have forever, knowing that it was made by him and his team in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
Our finished product was a 7 foot dining room table, produced from reclaimed redwood that was stripped from an old water tower. It is the center piece of our dining room. There are only a few purchases we have felt truly proud of making. We rank this one right up there. Not only is it a great table, but we see it as an investment.
Mark’s team delivered the table and set it up really fast. Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. We highly recommend Mark Jupiter.

We stumbled upon Mark’s store in Brooklyn and had a wonderful and unique experience from start to finish working with people who really care about the product and the process. First of all, spending an afternoon looking through his store is really special and fun; you can see all the cool projects he is working on and learn about the pieces. My fiancé and I had done a major decorating of our apartment over the last year, and had had a bad experiences with another vendor sending us 2 problematic, cracked slab tables. We told Mark about the experience and he helped guide us to a beautiful walnut table that he thought would work perfectly for us. Everyone involved in the company cared about the work product and the final result. They are definitely passionate about what they make and creating the perfect piece for people. We are totally blown not only away by the beauty of the table but also the quality of the work which is impeccable.

We just received a gorgeous armoire from Mark’s shop. The craftsmanship is impeccable. I had been looking forever for a ready-​made piece but no luck. I’m so glad Mark came to the neighborhood and can’t believe the fine custom furniture, especially at this price point (not far off from Room and Board). It is absolutely perfect. Took about 16 weeks but totally worth the wait. If you want a piece I would get in the queue sooner rather than later!

Great customer furniture. Mark took the time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted, including picking out the specific pieces of wood. Ended up with an impressive custom mirror made out of redwood salvaged from an old water tower. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Mark made the table he shows made of reclaimed walnut as a kitchen island for my apartment that was renovated recently. I found the slab at a dealer specializing in reclaimed wood, in Pine Plains, New York, and was given Mark’s name as someone who could make a table out of it, based on my design. From the very beginning, he was a pleasure to work with. I gave him a sketch of what I had in mind, and then we collaborated on it together at his shop in Dumbo. The result is pretty stunning, I think.
The finish on the wood is really great, and all the workmanship first rate. We had a left over piece of slab, and he made a coffee table as well.
He is also a real gentleman. When the last piece took longer to produce than it should have, due to circumstances not in his control, he gave me a discount.

We asked Mark to make a custom piece to accommodate an Ecosmart fireplace. He went off my initial design and improved upon it. It’s now the center of our living room, and the fit, finish and overall craftsmanship could not be better. Mark was a pleasure to work with and we appreciated the care he took in making sure what he made was top notch.

My wife and I bought a coffee table and an 8 person dining table from Marc. Both are center pieces in our home. The craft work is excellent and the care of finish is remarkable. Mark personally delivered both pieces rather than simply putting them on a truck. The passion Mark has for his work is clearly obvious and as such we would definitely purchase other pieces if the need arises. Haven’t given him 5 stars as it took a little while to have the legs made and finished for the table. Other than that A star!
