If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst McDonald’s or any fast food place I have ever been to in my life. I don’t know how they’re still in business and not shut down. Service here is extremely slow! I had to wait almost 30 minutes to get my food when I only ordered a snack wrap and fries. The staff there did not seem to know what they were doing at all. They were mixing up people’s orders and missing things out of people’s orders. On top of that complaining about being there. I heard one of them saying«I’m not even supposed to be here today». I’ll never be coming back here again, horrible service!

This place is a scam! It’s bad enough they can not put your order in the system correctly, they skim you on toppings. Lettuce is barely visible, if it is even lettuce! They do not take American Express cards, or maybe they do but just won’t allow you to swipe it. This is the first McDonalds I ever been to that does not take AmEx!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. One morning I walked in and an employee was resting their head on the counter. ANEMPLOYEEWASSLEEPINGONTHECOUNTER! The quality of food is so bad. I have never had good fries from there. The place should close. So bad.

Typical McDonald’s. Nice staff. But need alternate choices of milks for coffees, aside from cream! Even regular milk not available.

This is definitely, definitely the worst McDonalds experience that you could have in all of nyc. I live around the corner from this location and regardless of the time that I come here– morning, noon, night — they are abysmally under staffed. Some of the employees care, others move at a glacial pace. The demand for nights/weekends is the greatest, so why have 3 people exhausting themselves??? Where the hell is the manager? The food is also disappointingly under usual McDonald’s quality — why??? Management needs to step it up. Or, maybe this should become a Wendy’s-which has always prided itself on better food, better service.

Stopped by for a sausage/egg/cheese mcmuffin. It was fine — the aggressive homeless encampment wasn’t. Edit: In response to previous reviewers expecting smiles with their food, go somewhere else. You try servicing these clients for a week, you won’t be smiling.

Porque no se pueden poner cero estrellas. El peor McDonalds del planeta. Mal servicio y peor producto.

I’ll admit it, I eat McDonald’s every once in awhile. Sometimes I’m in a rush and need a quick eat-on-the-go burger, or want a guilty treat like nuggets or fries. This location is right at the G station, so it’s hard to not consider it an option for those type of days. I guess I can thank this location specifically, but I usually leave disappointed and wondering why I ever think McDonald’s is a good idea. The main issue is the service. I really do not understand how fast food could be so, so slow. Sometimes, they seem understaffed. Other times, there are 5 people behind the counter, but only 1 seems to be working. I just don’t get it. There’s no sense of urgency… or care. The food, I think it’s up to your luck that time/day. Sometimes it’s fine and it’s the standard McDonald’s fare, other times… the nuggets/fries may be over cooked in the fryer. Or they’ll skimp on the fries and you’ll literally get a half full box of fries and yet they somehow think that’s okay. If you ask for sauce, always check your bag before you go because they’ll usually forget or give you the wrong one – almost 100%.

There are only two cash registers open and people frequently cut. The employees are rude and speak in a rude way to the customers, and they charge 27cents for SAUCE.

I frequent this McDonalds almost daily(yes I’m ashamed). In the two weeks that I’ve been visiting only once did I wait more than 5 minutes to place my order then another 5 minutes to receive my order. I’ve seen all teams perform and noticed an improvement in their performance and drive for results. Kudos to the night team dealing with all us crazy hungry folk and in a quality and timely fashion. As for the environment, sanitation is not an issue. Bathrooms and Dining Room are routinely cleaned.

The so called manager on duty(black female about 6“6 inches in height) was excessively rude. Really rude. I couldn’t believe she was actually the person in charge on this Saturday afternoon shift(July Saturday 2015). Management if you see this she should be fired immediately and have someone who understands social responsibility. Her bad attitude is hurting your bottom line.

The top two reasons this particular McDonalds is severely lacking is because of their customer service, or lack of it, and their disorganization. The food itself is on par with many other locations and the low score really isn’t based off food quality but the atmosphere and experience as a whole. Let me first state, If this wasn’t the only available McDonald’s in the vicinity of my work training courses, I would go elsewhere. But since it’s a quick morning option, I endure the madness. If you visit this location, look forward to grumpy faces and confusion. If you get a «hi“or «have a nice day», consider yourself lucky and f you go in at lunch, there’s a 50⁄50 chance you’ll witness some type of customer outburst if you’re into adding that type of negativity to your life. Ok so here we go… The walk in: They open at 6 and usually only have one register open with a manager who may or may not jump in to help. The standard is a «one line» system that is often confused with ‘let me cut in front of you bc I didn’t know you were waiting’ type move. Ordering: The girl/guy will usually just stare at you when it’s your turn. Don’t wait for an invite or friendly conversation. When you get your food, if you ask for something else(like sauce or sugar) it gets tossed to you with no words, like you’ve annoyed them with your patronage. Food: Breakfast is normally good and lunch is as well. Pretty much what you would expect. The coffee is a roll of the dice. One day it’s awesome, the next it’s awful. Environment: The customers here are just as rude as the workers. On two occasions within the handful of times I’ve gone here, I have witness and been apart of an argument over line cutting. Because no one understands the one line wait and managers/employees don’t specify lanes over lines, when a new register will open and the lady says«next», anyone closest to it will think they are entitled to go even though there are 5 ppl ahead of them. This usually results in the people who got cut yelling«excuse me I was next» followed by a rude remark of «oh well go stand over there where you are» and the employees will just stare and take the cutters order. This happened the other day with the manager right there and nothing. They just yelled at eachother, he was disrespectful and a customer walked out. Not a word said. One time it actually happened to me. I spoke up and the customer was rude to me even though she cut me and the girl just took her order instead of saying«sorry she was here first». Its not very hard to be nice and follow a procedure. It’s also not hard for a manger to step in when there is conflict in their view. Retrain your staff and managers to give a dam.

When you get off the G train and have a craving for what you know is bad for you then this place is right there. You know you shouldn’t but you do. This location is often out of certain menu items but what can you do? It’s dirt cheap, you get what you pay for and it’ll help you mop that impending hangover a little.

Not a bad McDonalds, with good prices and right on the main strip in Greenpoint. Nothing special but for a McDonalds craving this is an okay option.

Worst McD I’ve been to. You have to budget 20 minutes to get your food, when they have it. Constantly«out of» ice cream, apple pies, you name it. They once forgot one of the buns on one of my sandwiches. Never gotten a smile here, pretty sure they only say«you’re welcome» because it’s part of their new hire training. Really depressing experience. The only reason I go here is it’s so close to my apartment and train.

In and out in 5 minutes with a line. Every other fast food place in downstate NY has managed to mess It up. They got it right and it was done within 1 minute. Great customer service.

I did whaaaat. Just kidding. This is the saddest macdonalds ever. I. m not loving it. I love mcD. s sundaes and ice creams. I do. My eternal forever indulgence. But, In general macdonalds in all 5 boroughs are sad and unappetizing. Service is not polite. Atmosphere is dirty.
