I can’t say enough about this place, I searched ALL day for a quick pair of contacts or glasses, and needed a new script for them as well.
About to give up I took my dog for a walk, and stumbled across this place, dressed like a bum, I went in and explained my situation. Alex said no problem, we can have your glasses in an hour, free exam!
Wow, so I looked at frames, they had so many really nice ones, from the basics, starting at like 20 bucks,(actually cute and stylish!) up to designer frames for ½ the price of a Boutiquie Manhattan store, basic lenses were 30 dollars!
I ended up spending like 150 dollars, for a great pair of Italian glasses, and a trial pair of contacts, not to mention a really nice case, box and cleaning cloth with a basic exam! Alex KNEW the exact right style and color for me, yet let me try my choices without seeming put off, or laughing! (I ended up with one of his suggestions)
I will go back really soon for another pair, at this price, I can have a glasses wardrobe, and the service, (yes, even if I looked like I should be on the corner begging for quarters!) was unbeatable anywhere, he made me feel like I was in Cartier with an AMEX black card!
