This place is cooler than me: the space, the guy behind the counter and the clothes they sell, which seem to be half-hipster/half-hip-hop, although I’m not sure if they’d appreciate that classification. I saw some awesome hoodies, hats, cardigans, jackets, flannel shirts, button-downs, jeans, etc. Modish is also smarter than me. I know this because I went to their website, and the«Help» section is written all in Latin(I think). That’s only helpful if I was better educated. Unfortunately, Modish is classier than me as well(read: out of my price range). For example, they sell the kind of jeans that cost $ 200, and they also have a couple pairs of vintage Nikes for around $ 250. Am I so far behind the times that this is just what clothes cost now? Maybe if I wasn’t wearing the same clothes as 8th grade Peter D, I would know these things. Anyway, when I’m smarter, richer, and«with it,» maybe I’ll do all my shopping here. I’ll probably have lots of wealthy friends(I’d settle for one; I’m lonely), and I’ll start popping my collar too, because everyone knows that wearing it down is for poor people. For now though, I’ll have to settle for buying the odd item, and hanging out with you lowlifes.
