Mr Fulton is good for when you’re starving and want a healthy portion of food for less than $ 10. The food is mediocre, and as the other reviewers said, stay away from the«Chinese» options. The fried chicken is good and the mac and cheese is decent. I’m pretty sure the food is made nowhere near the premises, but that’s the price you pay for eating at a greasy joint on Fulton and Dekalb, so…

So I ask the guy over & over«what kind of fish is that»? It was hard for me to see because the glass was steamy. He insisted it was Salmon, even though it didn’t look like it to me! I got it anyway and as soon as I opened the food up it was obvious that it was NOT salmon. If it’s Tilapia, say that!!! If you don’t know, say that! But don’t operate under the assumption that your customers are so stupid that they won’t know the difference!!! Hope this place dissappears soon!!!

H O R R I B L E!!! Worst waste of my money ever! Food has no taste like you’re literally chewing air. It actually looks like it’s gonna taste good when you see it in the store but don’t fall for it! Huge let down! HUGE!!!

This is the only thing that comes close to soul food in Ft. Greene, so I’ll take it! I’m pregnant and nothing hits the spot for me right now more than the mac and cheese and fried chicken. It’s also cheap and fast. I always get it to go and am in and out in less than 5 mins. The servers are very friendly, as an added bonus. Some of the plates could use a little bit more improvement, like more cheese on the mac and cheese and more sauce served over the yams, but overall, I’m not complaining. If you’re an obnoxious«foodie» you will be disappointed. If you just want cheap, down home style food, you’ll be good to go.

Remember when we saw Leroy, from the tv sitcom ‘What’s Happening’; he was always eating fried chicken, he was running down the street. Why is that? I know is because of Mr. Fulton’s fried chicken. This place stole all the recipes from the movie called ‘Soul Food’, because after I took one bite, I started singing some gospel songs. La la la! hallelujah! Yup, call me the new Leroy, because after my bite of their fried chicken, you saw me running for the bus with a chicken breast in my mouth. Yes, I couldn’t stop eating, because it was well seasoned. Beware if you plan to sit in, you will start talking about long lost memories, such as ‘do you remember time we fell in love’. This is one of the affordable soul food spots I know that serves great food from $ 4.00 to $ 7.50. Why buy Chinese food while there a spot like this? Try them out. Recommendation: Mac & cheese Fried chicken

Cheap and tasteless food. Find another alternative for your money. Most popular with the college students in the area.

This food is not good. It’s just cheap and you get a lot of food. End of story. If you think this is great food, then you should never write another review about food.

Mr. Fulton has a split personality. On the one hand, he makes soul food. Crisp, juicy fried chicken, gooey mac & cheese, buttery mashed potatoes… he does it right. On the other, he’s also got all kinds of Chinese options as well. Cloying sweet & sour chicken, eminently edible lo mein, dry fried rice… he does it mediocre. So avoid the Chinese food. It’s not terrible, but it’s very good either. If you go for the soul food, the value can’t be beat. $ 7.50 will get you an OVERFLOWING tin of three items. I recommend the fried chicken, mac & cheese(or baked ziti) and surprisingly fresh green beans. It’s enough for two people to share for lunch; if you tell them you’re sticking around to eat it, they’ll pile it even higher because they don’t have to put a lid on it. And then you get to sit down and watch the craziness that is Downtown Brooklyn, either from one of the window seats, or when it’s nice out, I recommend Albee Square. You might even see the guy who’s always wearing a furry, fire-engine red suit with a matching furry hat that is at least three feet in diameter. Or as I like to think of him, the REAL Mr. Fulton.

Hey, I don’t like when food looks appetizing and turns out to be a greasy stomach pain yes paining Mess! Okay got the beef and broccoli, lo mein and lasagna. All mashed together in a lil foil pan. Food was stuffed so well the guy had a tough time covering it. Fast forward back at work 1 bite, 2 bite… arghhhhh! Grease pain, stomach hurtingness! No maam I WILLNOTBEGOINGBACK! It’s that everything looks so good but the grease just killed it all for me. FYI the guys cook in the basement, which is what it is, because one day while passing by I saw them with the gate open and smelled the food wafting in the air. That’s how they get people to come in and buy food. I’ll pass by and go elsewhere.

Here’s the thing — Mr. Fulton makes simple, down home, inexpensive food that’s greasy-spoon style delicious. The portions are big, and two people can eat their fill for under twenty dollars. It’s a small place that’s nearly always packed for a reason. It’s not high end, it’s not even remotely classy, but it’s a lot like home cooking, and that earns it some respect. The staff, however, leaves something to be desired — after seeing a man refused service because the employee was«on break,» I was less impressed with the place. I’ll go back, and just hope the gold toothed guy behind the counter feels like working at the time.

The food is very good! I item is about $ 2.50, 2 items are $ 5.50, 3 items are $ 7.00. Some of the employees are very polite! The others are either quiet or rude! Other than that, fast service and a variety of food

my buddy told me to check out this joint in bklyn. very simple — pick 3 items from a huge variety(i had platanos, fried chix and mac n cheese) grab a beverage(cant go wrong with welchs grape soda) and chow down. puts those places in manhattan to shame.

Mr. Fulton is the best fast food in this area. It has a large selection of food: soul food, chinese, american, etc. The workers mount a favorable portion of the items you choose onto a plate and you are good to go! Good customer service Quick and cheap Fresh and tasty dishes
