The Decour of the place is amazing. I come by when it was slow. I order 7 dishes. For two people. And they for got two. What is if it was busy. But I can say the food was good. Nice place to hang out in the summer. I can see it can get crazy in here.

The meat and cheese board is fantastic, and enormous. Worth every bit of $ 26 if not more. We split the cheese board and then the octopus which was also stellar. Happy hour offers $ 15 pitchers of sangria, a must have. The staff was so lovely– honestly some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever come across. The atmosphere is off the charts. I really can’t even explain it but it’s rustic, elegant, ambient and, gorgeous.

Late Review, I had my wedding in July, 2016(It’s been busy). Overall, it is the best ever. Ruggiero is awesome. He was more than accommodating and was very caring with all the guests and wedding party. The food was awesome and the space is cool enough to be featured on the TV show, Younger(Hilary Duff!!). The bar staff mixes a mean sangria and the wait staff was all super nice and diligent. It rained for a bit right before the outdoors ceremony and we did not have a canopy. The staff wiped down every chair with napkins to make sure the guests were nice and dry!!! I cannot say enough good things about MyMoon and the team there. Some hints and advices on the space, which I think will alleviate some of the negative feedbacks: 1) The food is very very nice and is of much higher quality than what you get in a typical wedding catering venue. This is a top notch restaurant quality, so don’t expect volume. All of my guests LOVED the food and thought that the focus on quality over quantity is so much better. Alcohol, of course, is of high quality and high quantity. 2) The space is tight. I would say it is comfortably 90 in the main space. If you use the side space as additional seating, it gets cramped, and they feel like they are in the side room. I wouldn’t do it, unless you really have a guest list you can’t cut down. The outdoor space is super nice but you can’t have the dinner out there nor dancing(because of neighborhood noise restrictions). I had a three piece jazz band out there for the ceremony and cocktail hour(Bailsmen). It’s a perfect ambiance for that. A nice DJ will be more than enough.(Mine was Timbaland’s DJ, the only selection I had a choice in vs. my wife). That’s about it. Enjoy your intimate wedding and excellent food and service at MyMoon. You can’t go wrong.

Had my wedding last week at MyMoon and it was spectacular. We had such an amazing time celebrating with all our friends and family. The planning process with MyMoon’s coordinator Lee was super easy and fun. He was always responsive and answered all our questions in a timely manner. He was also very attentive that day making sure we had everything we needed and giving small reminders during the night(ex. cake cutting). The day of the event everyone loved how beautiful the place was(our florist Bahtoh did an amazing job!) and how organized everything was. Our guest loved the food and the staff was truly amazing. They were very attentive, especially the bartender! The only bummer were the speakers were not working properly that night(it was never clarified why — or why it could not be taken care of), but all night the sound would be loud and then low – it even happened during the first dance :(This is the only reason I am giving a 4 and not a 5. As an event space, the speakers should be checked no matter what… so definitely ask if you are planning your event here. However, our guests still had a great time dancing, eating, drinking, and just overall celebrating. I would recommend MyMoon for a wedding or event! We loved having our wedding at MyMoon!

Came to MyMoon a few times and was never disappointed by their food. Their ambiance is great and have outdoor seatings during summer time. It’s definitely one of my favorite in Williamsburg.

Love this place. From the string lights to the floating stars projected on the west wall, the outdoor ambiance is wonderful in the summer months as well as early-fall. I’ve had the pleasure of eating here casually in August of 2015 and then again when I attended a private event last month. Wonderful venue with superb food and service. The unfussy and industrial chic interior is so sexy! I would give this place 5 stars if they could have managed to keep the burger(dinner when there is no event) under $ 19…alas, I fear burgers under $ 15 is a thing of the past for NYC restaurants!

I had the extreme pleasure of working with the wonderful team at My Moon to help coordinate a Women’s Ministry Brunch for a group of over 150 ladies this spring — and I don’t use the word«pleasure» lightly! Lee, the events coordinator, was kinda and accommodating to all questions and special requests. He’s an expert in the field and was even able to help us squeeze in a few extra seats for all of our guests. The banquet of food was fresh and delicious and included a wide variety of items for ALL tastes(gluten free//vegan) which is not an easy thing to find when hosting a large group! They were thorough and totally engaged the entire time working with us and quickly swapped in and out fresh food and coffee through out the event and even had a beautiful dessert course. Needless to say — this is a place you want to book FAST if you want excellent service and a beautiful venue for any of your upcoming events!

Meeeehhhhhhhh. The venue is beautiful, however when the group of 4 of us were the only ones in the restaurant it was a bit lonely. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular or nothing out of this world. Wine was good. In the summer I bet this spot is more exciting!

Ugh. Came here for an event — not sure what happened behind the scenes, but we had the entire restaurant booked. The food took so slow to get to us and there was always a shortage of coffee. The staff should really be prepared to serve enough food at once for such a big group — it’s like they were surprised that there were that many people attending when we booked the place. I was only a guest, but I think bulk of my time was standing on line waiting for the buffet and coffee to become continuously refilled. When I got to the food, I was hugely disappointed with cold non flavorful food…

After we explained to Lee Chappell, MyMoon Events Director, that MyMoon was just simply out of our wedding budget at nearly $ 20,000, she went on to passive aggressively shame us, by listing three competing venues costs to show that MyMoon was the best choice of all the venues. She went as far as to name them as follows: The Brooklyn Winery on North 11th st Williamsburg, The Wythe Hotel and The Foundry in LIC. She went on to state that she hoped that we ‘now understood’ why we should choose MyMoon. After slamming these other businesses. We will never book MyMoon, even if it were in our budget. She only helped us understand how aggressive Wedding Vendors are– which saddens us during a celebratory time in our lives. Never, ever, wth MyMoon.

Well it’s been a while but I decided to give them one more try because I use to come here a lot. I’m glad I did because they really brought the life back into their menu. As always the atmosphere is great and the food once again matches. Spectacular food, ambience, and service. I will be back soon.

The venue is beautiful! But the food. Not soo much. I had the sea bass and the rock shrimp. The portion size minuscule and left still feeling hungry. I love the live jazz but i have to say i left thinking that id rather have spent a lot less money going to olive garden or getting chinese food. Sadly disappointed.

Wow. Had my engagement dinner here for 27 people and I couldn’t have been happier with them! We had the whole back room to ourselves and it was wonderful. The waitstaff was helpful and attentive. Everyone had seen the menu and had picked out what they had wanted and then were so surprised when it was family style and they got EVERYTHING that was on the menu! They was so amazed with the selection of food that came out! Not to mention, it was delicious! Appetizers including a pumpkin lobster bisque, salad, and 2 flatbreads. For entrees, we had ribeye, lamb stew, and sea bass. There were 3 desserts that came out that were perfect(we actually asked them to bring out another place!). Hahaha. It was a great price for everything we got AND there was no fee to have the whole back room reserved like a lot of other places we had looked into! They even put our wedding logo on the menu! Highly highly recommend!

Beautiful venue for an indoor/outdoor wedding! However, there was almost no food during cocktail hour, the portions for dinner were minuscule, and we left the party starving. I don’t know how much of this was the restaurant’s fault and how much was the couple’s, but it was a big disappointment.

My best friends planned my birthday dinner here for a large group of 20+ guests. pros: — we occupied the entire room to the left and were able to enjoy a semi-private dinner. — very roomy and comfortable dining. atmosphere, ambience and décor was very cozy and romantic. loved the tall ceilings, exposed brick and candlelight. — we chose the family style menu(which was reasonably priced) and there was definitely more than enough food to go around. — some of the items on our menu were hit or miss but for the most part, majority was tasty and well prepared. — their speciality cocktails were actually very good. the Glass Slipper was my favorite. cons: — our waiters while professional, were somewhat dry and robotic. — the dishes could have came out somewhat faster. the major disappointment however, was that we were never informed the backyard garden closes before midnight. the host agreed to keep an area reserved for us in the nice outdoor lounge/cabana area for our after-party where we also invited additional friends to meet us for drinks. suffice it to say, it really really put a damper on the entire evening while myself and 15 other friends are walking around williamsburg at midnight looking for a place to have drinks… MAJORFAIL, MYMOON!

What a fabulous place for an event or an evening out! My family and I were lucky enough to be part of a beautiful wedding that took place here. The ceremony took place in their outdoor garden area and was just beautiful! Dinner and appetizers were amazing! I can’t wait to go back for dinner one evening! Everything was on point!

When I first started coming here the food was unbelievable. This was about 2 or 3 years ago. However man has this place taken a downward spiral. I don’t know if they got a new chef or new owners but whoever decided to change the menu did a real poor job. The food is almost inedible. The cocktails aren’t as good either and the sangria tastes like its watered down grape juice.

Came here with my best friend following a Unilocal event for some tapas and drinks. Left very full and pretty buzzed(this shouldn’t be news anymore when I write a review about the two of us getting together… LOL) The atmosphere here blew me away. Both the huge outdoor dining space and the immaculate indoor dining space were astonishing, beyond romantic and fun. I cannot say enough about the ambiance here. It is filled with warm colors, romantic and cozy candlelight, and awesome outdoor cabanas where we ate our meal. This is an awesome place to bring anyone, beyond awesome décor! Excellent excellent! There is an upper part to the deck and a lower part, very spacious patio and interior. One feels like she or he is in a novel cover when coming here! I love the mason jar strung up candle lights hanging over the top portion of the patio. You almost feel like you are somewhere upstate and secluded when hanging out on the patio. The staff is awesome and friendly. We had an incredible waiter who really picked out the best tapas for us when we got stuck and suggested some great drinks. Professional and fun! Now…the food and drinks. The nuestras bravas were on point and delicious, I wish they were bottomless. Who doesn’t love deep fried potatoes, especially after drinks? The croquetas de espinacas were savory and amazing, an excellent suggestion by our waiter, probably my favorite item that we ordered! The pulpo canaro was alright, I’m not a huge fan of charred octopus. My best friend IS a fan and said she loved it. The pato, which is pan seared duck with relish and marmalade was TODIEFOR, soooo good! I love duck and this was exceptional. Last, we got the txangurro which was Alaskan king crab served in avocado with sauce, incredible! For dessert we got the crema catalana semifredo which was small, but perfect because we were so full from dinner. I got the Anthos drink which was great, my friend got the Gold Rush and it was too strong. Not sure why such low ratings, I would for sure come back here again!

I’ve been here 3 times. This is a very beautiful restaurant, I wish it was warm enough that night to sit outside! Anyways the inside is just as lovely. I had duck, hmm it melted in my mouth! I don’t remember what he got but it was delicious

The outdoors space drew us in and we stayed. I had a Tempranillo under the orange shades and cushioned benches of «my moon» with the hanging lights twinkling and romance in the air although I was on a date with my bff. she also enjoyed the beauty of the space. It’s a lot of space with the upper level deck. We didn’t even go inside and spent the whole time outside. We had a lot of tapas but the best were the mushrooms and the bread with olive tapenade. We had duck, lamb, and scallops but they weren’t as good as I wanted them to be. Overall the space is wonderful. I’d probably go just for drinking next time. The benches are comfortable and the warmer air of summer will draw a crowd.

3.75 stars I attended a CE here with a few of my friends. Walking in, we were amazed. The space is beautiful! Almost everything was wooden, from the tables and chairs to the fans and high ceiling. The baby’s breath in a vase on each table was endearing. Loved the contrast of the teal blue of the booth seats against the browns and the exposed brick. We all thought this would be a nice venue for a wedding and funny enough, a few days later, I met a fellow Unilocal Elite who said she was having her wedding here! Our CE included a three course meal. I started off with the gambas al ajillo. It tasted alright; the presentation would have been enhanced if the shrimp wasn’t chopped up in little pieces but left whole. It was also lacking the garlic. As for the entrée, I got the pato(pan seared duck magret with apricot & pistachio relish, caramelized pearl onions & black cherry coulis). Enjoyed the relish but don’t think I got any onions at all. The first half was nicely cooked, medium rare but the other half was more tough. Regardless, both pieces were hard to cut through — I found myself scraping my plate with the knife during the presentation, a little embarrassed. My meal ended with three mini cheesecakes that definitely put me over the top. My first impression would have been better have not our waiter rushed through his service. He was taking plates and utensils before we were done with them. I will definitely remember this restaurant was one of the more eye pleasing in Williamsburg, not to mention they put on little heart lights, like the Batman signal, at night on the adjacent wall outside! Boys, if you live in the hood, this is a good date spot.

Going to My Moon … And they’re gonna get married. Yes they’re going to get married … Oooooo ooo. — — — — — — — — — — — — — Hubs and I recently attended a friends wedding at My Moon, our first visit to the restaurant. We had such a fantastic time! Such a great place to host an event — the transition between ceremony, dinner and dancing was smooth thanks to the attentive staff. The bartenders did a great job at serving up all the guests. Dinner(steak) was delicious! and the overall obeisance(exposed brick, golden lighting, rustic tables/chairs) made the event feel intimate and romantic — perfect for a weddin’! — — — — — — — — — — — — — My Moon… Oo oo oooooo.

I have been to My Moon about 6 times since June. Its not just the exposed brick, or the delicious food, or even the amazing staff… I got married here the day after Valentine’s day. Am I biased? Possibly. But as my now husband and I look back, hiring Ruggero and the my moon staff to make my day possible was the best decision i ever made. The décor is beautiful. Exposed Brick. Beautiful booths. And dark wooden communal tables in the center. Its very Game of Thrones. The staff is extremely knowledgeable of the menu and can recommend wine pairings or a dish if you aren’t sure of what you may like. The food is… well, fantastic. Forget the banquet hall food you imagine at other weddings– this is quality stuff. The menu boasted of seared tuna, langoustine, wild mushrooms, beef tenderloin, lamb shank and chicken. There was something for everyone and even the vegetarian leek canneloni soup was good enough to make this carnivore have a hard time choosing between steak and soup… i went with the beef tenderloin that was amazing. Cooked to perfection. Some may have complained that the portions were on the small side but thats simply because the steak was so good– you just wanted more. Ruggero, who managed my wedding, was my life saver. He answered all my emails in a timely fashion, he talked me off many ledges when i just couldnt handle any wedding stress. He also set up for me the day of. My wedding day was the coldest day of the year. I ordered a heated tent for my ceremony. When that heated tent was insufficient, Ruggero, jumped into action and set up an aisle in My Moon for me to utilize as my «chapel». I hear it was a little chaotic but all i had to do was smile in my photos and drink champagne. The thing everyone still talks about is how different a wedding at My Moon is and how good the food is. Do yourself a favor. If you are looking for an intimate and memorable wedding with a sort of all inclusive deal– My Moon is your best bet. Next time I get married, I wont waste time looking at venues, i am going straight to My Moon!

We just recently attended a friend’s wedding here and was blown away. The décor, staff, setup, music, drinks, and food were all first rate. Love the exposed brick everywhere, dark accents, curved booth seating along the walls, heavy dark wooden communal tables, large bar, modern art pieces on the walls, large clean bathrooms, and windows/skylights letting in natural lighting. Wonderful spot for a mid-sized to smaller wedding or special event. They even have an outdoor space courtyard for use when the weather permits. When night fell and it was dimly lit with candles flickering it almost looked like a set piece from Game of Thrones. I expected the iron throne to be set up for the happy couple to sit in and preside over the wedding celebration. Good thing it wasn’t the Red Wedding episode! The staff here were more than accomodating to any request we had. The bartenders were great and made us some specialty drinks and shots too that were off the menu. The dinner was just perfect with some nice choices on the menu. That beef tenderloin was delicious, and the salad was an entrée in itself. Beautiful place for an event or a wedding with ambiance to spare!

Really disappointed with how we were seated. The place has these beautiful booths and there were two open when we arrived with reservations. They instead wanted to seat us in the center section where no one was sitting like we were on display. When we asked for a booth, they said that they were saving them for larger parties but some of the currently filled booths only had 2 people in them. We opted to sit at the bar instead. One of the booths that was open never filled the entire time we were there. The place had an empty feel to it. The ambiance just wasn’t right. Despite having a great bartender and delicious food, we’ll probably never go back. The seating situation just kind of ruined it for us.

*This review is strictly for wedding experience. Pros: — beautiful and romantic venue(outdoor ceremony, cocktail hrs, and indoor reception) — great wedding food! — great help from the owner/manager — location is convenient — reasonable price Cons: the space is limited. If you are planning a big wedding with more than 150 people, this is not the space for you. So, I got married here last year and my experience? The BEST!!! :) And my guests told me so as well!(A few of them actually told me that it was the most fun and the best wedding that they’ve been to. hehehe) And even if I could turn back, I’d still have my wedding here. First, the venue is gorgeous. So gorgeous that it doesn’t need flowers arrangements to make it look pretty.(I did put some flowers for the center pieces and that was about it. I only needed about $ 200 worth of roses for the entire place.) I had the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoor and reception indoor. It was late June, so the weather was perfect for the romantic outdoor setup. Second, the food… let’s not forget, this is a restaurant to begin with. The food here is legit. I had so many people complimenting on the food during the reception and even after! :) Third, the owner/manager here is very helpful. Obviously, he’s done this so many times before, he knows everything. Just ask him via email or call him up for help or concerns. I had concerns about the weather being rainy, so he hooked me up with a very reasonably priced tent company. I also wanted to have a little photo booth and he hooked me up with a photo booth company that was also very reasonably priced and perfect for the little space at the back. Just ask. He will do anything to help you. Lastly, the price here is unbeatable… For everything you can milk out of this place, the per head price is really reasonable. I looked at Brooklyn Winery next door and they asked for around 1.5 times higher than MyMoon, when they don’t even have outdoor space!!! Anyways, all of my wedding pictures look amazing. Thanks to the beautiful space. :) People say they don’t enjoy their own wedding day, but me and my husband had a blast. He opened the bar late for the wedding party since we couldn’t stop partying. lol My only downside is for those who are planning to have a big wedding. This place can only hold max of 120 or something. So be mindful. BUT! I really recommend this place for anybody who’s also looking for some brooklyny/vintage/rustic themed wedding. I LOVEDMYWEDDINGHERE!!! :)

Great ambiance, food cooked to perfection and a snazzy looking wait staff! What else could you want from a restaurant? Recently I attended a reception for a wedding here and although the florist did a beautiful job the ambiance of the place lend an air of quality to the party that was just full of vibrant young people, and beautifully prepared foods and drinks.
