The food was really bad here. We ordered the pad thai, mango chicken and pancakes… were very unsatisfied with the taste. Don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews.

This place is such a gem! I love coming here for several reasons 1) there is almost never a wait(granted, I have never visited during dinner hours) 2) the comfy seating 3) Thai Iced Tea 4) PADTHAI. Their portions are huge and for the price, you really can’t beat it. Pad thai is very flavorful and you can even adjust your spice level! They do lack consistency with their spices though. Service is decent. They ask you how everything is going, refill your water without you asking, and leave you alone when you just want to chat with your friends. I always find myself coming back!

Always delicious. It was a bit chilly but I can’t blame them it’s freezing outside and it’s hard to control outside air getting in. I ordered the green curry — mild, with coconut rice it was very hot(temperature) But it was very very good and defiantly recommend. My hubby got basil fried rice with chicken and shrimp extra spicy. He also got some very spicy soup which smelled so great. Clean place, quick service and very nice, go check it out!

Delicious, Delicious, Delicious. From their drinks to their appetizers to their main course, none disappointed. The food tasted authentic, leaving us wanting more even after it was finished and we were stuffed. The staff even offers a level of spiciness in case you are not a fan of spice. This restaurant is a true gem hidden in Bayridge.

By far my favorite Thai place. I’ve come here multiple times and have only ordered Pad Thai, drunken noodle, and Thai ice tea. I always order it extra spicy and it’s DELICIOUS. The service here is usually fast and the portion is HUGE. Definitely worth $ 10 – 11. The only downside to this place is their lunch menu. It only includes rice dishes, which I am not a fan of. I have something against rice dishes. I have, however, tried my friend’s order of mango chicken rice(something along those lines) and it was a bit too sweet/sour.

It’s honestly a lot better than I expected and the portion is pretty big I couldn’t finish my food if you don’t eat that much that it can serve for two. I got jasmine tea and it came with a little pot I thought it was so cute. I only expected a cup of tea but I had a little pot of hot tea all to myself.(the tea can serve two) The chicken pad thai is pretty good. The noodle had more flavor than the chicken itself but that was fine if you eat it together. The drunken man noodle is alright I guess, I think it would taste better if it was more spicy since I was sick I only ordered mild. The beef was juicy though which is a good thing.

Cozy little place with decent food. Mango curry is unique and tasty. Must try dish. Thai iced tea is okay.

This restaurant is walking distance from my house and I’m glad. I can get food that’s as convenient as getting simple takeout but 10x more delicious. The staff is friendly. There’s always a maximum of two waitresses when I go and they never forget their smiles. Sweet, polite, and everything nice. As for food, please try the mythai sweet chili sauce with tofu. I always get it spicy. It is served with eggplants and some mixed veggies like onions and peppers. The portion size is enough to share. But if you don’t share, the leftovers still taste amazing once heated up. Another recommendation is the drunk man noodles in spicy with chicken. I always ask for their peanut sauce on the side to dip my chicken in. It’s free! I always enjoy my meal with a Thai iced tea with less ice(therefore you get more of the tea) and the fried calamari appetizer. If you’re a fan of garlic like I am, the sauce for the calamari will make you happy. I took away a star because sometimes the food taste is inconsistent with the chefs. It’s still food but I wish there was consistency. Sometimes«spicy» would be too spicy for me. And this is coming from someone who has a soft spot for spicy food. Also, I got the pancake once, and never got it again. It was too buttery for my liking. I couldn’t compare it to anything because I’ve never had it at other Thai restaurants. All in all, I think this restaurant is a win and you should try it.(It’s date friendly, their rice is served in a cute heart shape)

Consistently great food, been coming here occasionally for a few years and never disappointed. Kinda cliché but the pad Thai and chicken fried rice is my favorite and my girlfriend loves the mango chicken(a little spicy for me, even ordered mild). Staff is always great and attentive, no matter how busy(or not busy) they are.

Chicken pad Thai — bland and colorless Pineapple fried rice — no pineapples and the color of the rice was so yellow(like the Chinese take out rice) Thai pancake — so greasy and the curry dip was so watery Waitress was nice and attentive but food is definitely subpar.

Came here for lunch on a Friday. The environment here is more of a lounge than a restaurant with pillows on the seats. The food here is pretty decent. Nothing too spectacular but not bad at all. I had the pad kee mau and the portion was large and full of chicken. My wife had the pad thai which was large as well. $ 10 for each dish is worth it.

We started off with the famous Thai iced tea, myThai pancake, coconut soup and chicken satay skewers. As for entrees, we ordered the chicken rendang, Malaysian short ribs, pad thai, pad kee mau. Everything was mediocre except the skewers, iced tea and chicken rendang. I give props for the chicken rendang because they totally nailed the curry sauce, it was neither spicy or mild, it was just perfectly in between. The chicken satay skewers was not bad since they had marinated the chicken but the dipping curry sauce was little watery. The rest of the food wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. The pancake and Pad kee mau were a bit greasy. I could barely taste the meat flavor in the short ribs. Chicken pad thai was very bland. The worst of all was the Coconut soup(tom kha). We had to ask for them to make us a new one because it was sooo salty you can barely taste the coconut in the soup!

Came here to satisfy thai food withdrawals(yes — that’s a real thing!). What was once a local favorite still remained the same, from the bar area to the throw pillows that line up the wall benches. The food was a little blander than I remember, mild used to be the perfect spice for me when it comes to the basil fried rice(Thai + basil = spice that can cause an explosion). My order didn’t have any hint of spice. My bf ordered the pad thai with shrimp, which was deliciously! I ordered the Thai ice tea which I mixed in myself — which is awesome and super pretty to watch. Our waitress was very keen to attention. Perhaps during my next visit I will step up to a higher spice level.

First things first, the extra star I gave was for the delicious Thai ice tea. They totally nailed that one! Now, I will go into why it was such a disappointment. 1) Their pad-thai wasn’t ALLTHAT! Not only did it lack color, but it was also dry and tasted funny. If you’re a Thai restaurant and you can’t nail your pad thai and make it «ALLTHAT», then there’s something wrong. –_– 2) Since we had some chicken in the pad thai, we ordered the mango shrimp instead of the mango chicken. They gave us the wrong order. They brought out mango chicken because the waitress wrote it wrong. When they finally brought out my mango shrimp, all I saw was a bunch of mango slices and FAKESHRIMP. The fake ones like at those take out places. REALLY?! And you’re a Thai restaurant charging so much for mango shrimp, and it’s fake, frozen shrimp?! I order mango shrimp for cheaper at other Thai places, Malaysian restaurants etc and they definitely give real shrimp. Also, I love mangos but they totally OD on the mangos. The mango and shrimp proportion was really off. This is like a Thai take out place with fake chicken and fake frozen shrimps. I don’t know why people settle for bland, greasy, imitation food. I know I’m never going to this place again. There are definitely better choices for Thai in Brooklyn. Song is one of them! You guys should all go check that one out if you think this place is «the bomb.» You will thank me! lol =P

Their vegetarian curry puff wasn’t a curry puff… it was a damn spring roll! I’m a pretty big curry puff lover so I was unhappy. Appalled. Sad. We had their pad thai, which was bland and dry. The curry was better, but there was a weird color consistency… On the plus side, portions are huge. The curry alone could’ve fed two people.

Came here last night with a craving for some Thai food and decided to try out mythai because we haven’t found any good places around bay ridge or sunset park area. We got the Thai pancake for the appetizer, randang curry and chicken pad Thai as entrees and Thai iced tea and mango sangria for drinks. First off we went pretty late on a Saturday night and we were practically the only ones there. Even so, the wait staff were super attentive and friendly. The drinks were all great and for $ 2 i thought the Thai iced tea was pretty cheap. The mango sangria also had lychee in it and my boyfriend couldn’t help but get it even though he’s slightly allergic to mango and lychee(he said it was worth it). The pancake was pretty greasy yet still tasted decent, I thought the curry was a little watery though. As the entrees came out, the waitress was nice enough to ask if we wanted to share and later I realized why because my pad Thai was huge! The randang curry looked so amazing that I wished there was an option to have pad Thai with massaman curry potatoes. The chicken in my pad Thai was more on the dry side but luckily the noodles tasted flavorful and moist. For some of the dishes, you have the option to adjust the spice level. Medium was perfect for us. Throughout the night we never felt like we were being rushed out and the service was impeccable. Initially I would give a place like this 4 stars(3.5 for the dry chicken in the pad thai and greasy pancake) but the experience made up for it. We ended up packing the leftovers and had them for lunch today. I have to say. it still tasted great!

Food was great, big portions weren’t expected but it was worth it’s price. The chicken pad Thai was tasty, I like how the plating was for this dish. The chicken green curry was good but not as big as the pad Thai. The Thai iced tea is good too! The egg rolls was delicious as well as the mythai pancake. A bit too much butter but still enjoyable. The customer service was not bad at all.

Shrimp pad thai was not good. Shrimp and noodles were bland. Ordered to go; so I had a container full of noodles and not enough shrimp. Shrimp were not clean all the way. Some vein pieces in the tail. Noodles were sticky. No taste. Not worth $ 13.07

I’ve come here many times over the years. This place was my first thai experience, and I’ve had many since. In terms of quality, the food is pretty good. In terms of authenticity, it’s alright — there’s no «wok» taste to it. In terms of quantity, I’ve never been to a Thai place that gave so much food. I feel kind of bad and think they can get away with giving less portions as you could easily share an appetizer and entrée between two people(possibly even just the entrée). I’m not too big on their noodles. I’ve tried their Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai, Mee Siam. Their curries are what really do it for me. Come hungry, and leave satisfied. For a Thai restaurant, you really get a lot here.

Another Chinese-run Thai establishment. Came in for the lunch special… surprising prices. $ 7 – 8 for rice, salad, spring roll, and your choice if entrée. I tried the spicy chili with veggies and eggplant. It was not spicy – completely American spice! Get the mango chicken if you like the Chinese style sweet and sour sauce. The Thai iced tea is magnificent. Their selection of potted teas are also good. We tired white with dried mango and it was delightful. I also like the heart shaped touch with the way the rice is plated. The bathroom sink is also a heart shape – cheesy and cute! Service is kind of slow, but our waitress was kind. Funny décor too… Bunch of unmatching pillows to sit on alongside the walls. Do come if you have that eating-dinner-on-the-couch fetish.
