This local spot is a pleasant store to do business with. I’m a huge fan of the mom and pop shops. Both Nat Sr and Jr are extremely helpful. They take their time to answer all of my questions. If you’re a local, like I am, then I strongly recommend them. Make sure and ask nat to show you the other half of the store LOL So, if you’re looking to do a small project or just got some fixing to do, Nat’s hardware is the place to be.

Exceptionally helpful and generous people here. Needed a large, rare hex key for bike-tweaking, which was only available as part of big, pricey sets. The owner [I assume] was kind enough to lend me his own key for a day, instead of trying to sell one of the sets, even though I was neither buying anything else to go with it, nor a recognized regular by that time. Have been able to return or exchange inaccurate purchases as well, ever since. Won’t go anywhere else anymore when Nat’s is open.

Great store, good inventory, very reasonable, and the people(family owned) running it are very friendly and knowledgeable. Support local mom and pop stores like this one, don’t go to Home Depot.

I live three blocks from Nat’s Hardware. I used to trek up to Cypress to go to the hardware store up there, and I still will for things like custom colors of paint, but for other hardware needs, Nat’s is awesome. Number one, the store is way bigger than it first appears and they have a very wide selection of things you might need to make your apartment awesome. The prices are very reasonable and the people who work there are helpful. As a chick, I sometimes get treated like I’m clueless at hardware stores, but the guys at Nat’s had none of that attitude. They did make helpful suggestions, including how I could save money by buying a slightly different type of screw, and how I should cut a piece of 1″ x 4″(that I was already buying) to make a replacement leg for an old desk instead of buying a much pricier 1“x1″. And they’ve been doing business in the neighborhood for 23 years, so you can feel good about supporting a local business rather than Home Depot.
