The food and the service at this place is always amazing. They sometimes give you free desserts if you come frequently.

I tried this restaurant a few times. No complains about the food or service. The owner is very nice and friendly, he always smiles and respects the customers. I think some of the reviewers have too high expectations. If you want the food presentation and the experience of a high end restaurant, you need to go elsewhere and spend more money.

I came here on a rainy night as it was on the was home. The food was very bland and tasteless. Not appetizing to look at either sorry!

The food was horrible. I order seafood chow mein and the squish is spoil and smelly and the owner said it was fresh and he was eating it. He said nothing is wrong with it. The owner had bad attitude. I would not go back again.

On Sunday night around 6, I went here for dinner. We had the salt and pepper fried fish fillet, bitter melon with scrambled eggs and the lotus root with mixed veggies. All of the dishes were pretty good. All of this came out to about $ 40 not including tip. They charge for rice here, most of the other places charge for rice. What happen to free rice these days? Rice is cheap. I would come back here again since it’s close by and convenient.

We dropped by here for a quick lunch and were seated right away. The place is very small compared to the previous Ownership(Blue Ginger I think?) as they built a walled off section to place take-out orders and for some BBQ dishes. There was only about 6 – 7 tables around and the table we sat at was for a bigger group. As we were going over the menu, they seated another 2 people at our table.(Truthfully I don’t mind this at all as I have eaten at several Dim Sum places and this is normal practice). The waitress took our order which included drinks. The only extra was we asked for no scallions. When the food arrived, my friends noodles did have scallions included and we had to ask for the drinks again because she forgot to bring them. I ordered the Beef with broccoli and it was really good. I got a nice portion of meat and the broccoli was fresh and bright green. Since this place is located close by my parents house we have been here a few times with pretty much the same results. Food is good, service is OK but space is limited. Prices were reasonable as the whole meal(2 people) cost me $ 20.

I went here with my parents on literally its second day of existence(I do these things so you don’t have to, folks). This took over the old Café Blue Ginger spot(which was quickly declining). First thing we noticed is that it’s a lot smaller now. There’s a BBQ station taking up a third of the space, and only five tables for seating. Luckily, we were able to sit at the only small table in the restaurant– half booth, half chairs(could seat 4 or 5 comfortably). After we sat down, there was a group who had to wait probably 20 minutes to be seated. For the three of us, we received exactly one menu, which was annoying. The menu itself was very extensive, with English and pictures. But the waiter informed us that a lot of the things weren’t available to order yet since they just opened(not a good first impression). They were out of congee(rice porridge) for the night; wonton soup was available but fishballs weren’t; spare rib casserole was a no go; and we were able to order some duck from the last one they had prepared for the night. Onto the food– not big portions, but cheap. Duck wasn’t too fatty, but also wasn’t too hot(it was around 8pm, so I expect they had to microwave it a bit). Nice and tender though with tons of flavorful sauce. The wonton soup was pretty good, enough for one person to be full for dinner. The wontons were decent, and the noodles were springy without being overly so. We also ordered a second noodle dish to share — soy sauce lo mein with beef(or some approximation of that). Again, it wasn’t too oily the way other Chinese places in the area serve it, which was refreshing. Lots of beef, but it was a bit tasteless. Definitely needed to ask for Sriracha, which made it 5x better. The entire meal for three people was incredibly cheap. But if there was an opposite of «good for groups», to denote that it’s not a great place for smaller groups, I’d tick that. After a while, I got tired of having my chair bumped by passing waiters and waitresses, and having to duck every time they brought a dish to a table or wanted to move chairs around. Next time, I’ll do takeout or delivery.
