New Santa Ana

I have had my fair share of amazing Mexican food in the Mission in SF and in LA as well. I always end up comparing any Mexican food I eat to that because they were amazing. I came across this restaurant and was drawn by the smell and the man outside cutting up pastor. I walked in to order to go. They don’t speak any English! So it was difficult for me to order because they don’t have any menus (Look online before you go. You can find their menus on some websites.). I couldn’t order any of their specialty dishes since I didn’t know what they had, so I ended up ordering an Al Pastor Burrito. This is definitely a traditional Mexican place! They serve you the burrito with some lettuce and guacamole on the side. I’ve definitely had better burritos but out of some places I’ve eaten around this area, this is really great quality burrito, and it’s definitely filling!

Al Pastor tacos, bought on the street for $ 2 each, are some of the best I’ve ever had. They come with pineapple, guac, onion, and cilantro. Yum.
