Best vegan pizza I’ve tried in Brooklyn. They make the vegan pies differently every day, which is nice variation, although not a fan of stuff like broccoli since the daiya can’t really hold it together. All in all it’s not quite Two Boots level, but definitely a better atmosphere. Plus this location always had the crust on point, as opposed to the one that closed where it was often on the slimy side. I just wish there was room to sit down here!

I have been living here for over two years. If I want good pizza I had to venture downtown. This is no longer an issue as this pizzeria is a few blocks away and the pizza is great. The grandma slice isn’t bad but that regular slice is good

Great pizza and friendly staff. It’s not that bourgeois ass pizza you’ll find at other places but it’s mad good for the price. Fuck the yuppies who are complaining.

Stay far, far away from this place if you’re looking for a vegan pizza. Almost $ 30 for a pizza that did not have the toppings I ordered and was just disgusting. DISGUSTING. Literally more than half of the pizza went into the trash.

This area is short on decent pizza options, so Norbert’s is a God-send. All«meats» are vegan, but the cheese is dairy. The Hawaiian slice(with vegan ham and pineapple chunks) is my favorite. It’s a tiny space, so take your slice to go.

Was looking for a regular local pizza spot in the hood. Ordered a regular pie… wasn’t feeling the pizza at all. Maybe I’m too use to the cheesy oily NY pies.

pie with two toppings on Seamless = 25.00 with tip. ouch. whatever. (Doorbell rings 70 min later) Pizza Guy: So the cook forgot to give you toppings, I can bring this back or I can just give you the money for the toppings.(hands me box with dollar bills scattered on top) Me: EHHHHHhh my guests are starving upstairs so I’ll take this one I guess… PG: Sorry, you can call an’ complain.(mounts bike) Me:(ascends stairs dejectedly, notices the box-bottom of my incorrect pizza is only lukewarm) Guests:(open box) Pizza:(sits coldly in box, unattractively folded in a big wrinkle and stuck to itself due to being carried crooked and congealed in that position) Me: Oh my god they forgot the toppings and it’s cold, and folded. Three strikes.(grabs phone and calls) Me: Listen guys you gotta refund me. It took forever and they forgot my toppings, fine. But then it was also cold and also folded on itself. Im not that guy who sends things back, but I need you bring me another one. I paid 25 dollars. Counter Girl: Ok yeah we’ll bring another pizza. (Phone rings 10 minutes later) Counter Girl: Hey sooo… youre like, gonna pay for this new pizza right? Me: Uh, sure??? (Phone rings 20 minutes later) Counter Girl: So — our delivery guy doesn’t have time to bring you the pizza, could you just pick it up instead? Me: What??? Counter Girl: He just doesn’t have time to bring it so you. If you still want it it’s here for you to pick up. Me: DUDE ! Counter Girl: Sorry, that’s what they’re saying, I’m just working the counter. Me: Dude let me talk to whoever is saying it then! :pizza guy gets on phone: Me: Son there turned out to be three things wrong with this pizza so i paid for a new one. Why are you refusing to deliver it? Pizza Guy: I ASKED you if you wanted a new one and you didn’t! so if you want it its right here! You can get it yourself. Me: Dude I have guests over my house, I can’t go out on foot in winter. PG: YOUHAD the OPPORTUNITY, FORME, to bring you another pizza– Me: I DECLINEDBECAUSEMYGUESTSWERESTARVING and I didn’t know it was cold and stuck together! Best goddamned after-show vegan slice hole-in-the wall-rock-n-roll brooklyn extravaganza just go there. They’re lovely. This is the kind of pizza place I hoped to find when I moved to NYC.

Love at first pizza bite! This place was an instant love for me. I am originally from Seattle but have always had a soft spot for Portland. Portland is like the your friend’s relaxed, cooler older brother who introduced you two to cool bands. And Norbert’s is that in a pizza place. I spotted it walking down Broadway. On the outside there is a huge graffitied pizza slice and a Halloween style cat icon with the word«Norberts» underneath it. The accents on the outside are painted in fun colors and details. When you walk in the shop does not stop in hipness. There is cool art hanging on the wall. All kinds of funky cat accents. And when the little punk rock clerk walked up, I couldn’t help but notice his neon green eyebrows. There was nowhere for me to wash my thrifting hands. The clerk was nice enough to give me a wet napkin with some soap and water. All the pizza slices looked decadent and perfect. I was quickly drawn to the white slice. I love marinara but every once in awhile I need to have a white slice. And the prices were more than reasonable for fancy and delicious pizza. It was only $ 2.50 for each the white and the«regular». FYI: Regular is what New Yorkers call the cheese slice. The crust has the perfect chew and the white globs of ricotta where exactly what I was looking for. I can not wait to try the vegan pizza and all the other creations. And I can’t help but want to get a shirt. I am an old school goth and the Halloween cat that represents pizza doesn’t get much better… well maybe the skeletal bat for the coffee shop KAVE. Way to go Bushwick for having small businesses I want to promote. All this place needs is more seating. It was tough to sit on a side bench at butt level. But I enjoyed the neon sign that resembles Pac Man eating Pizza. Yup… I am a nerdy goth at that.

9 out 10 times I absolutely love their thin crust plain cheese pizza. Sometimes it happens — and I get a slice of shitty pizza. But for $ 2/slice is one of the best pizza offers I have had.

Great Pizza… but the delivery guy took an hour, and when he showed up(and I dared to be upset about it) he told me to fuck off, said to go back to NJ and told me I was«a fucking rich kid.» I, by no measure, am a rich kid. I’ll admit to being an asshole, and yes, I actually am from New Jersey, but I am not some fucking spoiled brat with a trust fund. I work for a living, just like the delivery guy who insulted me. Moral of the story: If you’re ordering, just do pick up.

Coming down from a long commute from the city, seeing Norbert’s neon signboard is like saying I’ve finally reached home. Having Norbert’s pizza is a treat I give myself from time to time. I had the vegetarian and this is my personal favorite; at $ 3 this is amazing. I had the slice with sausages; at $ 2.5 it was okay. They have vodka slice but I am yet to try that. What really drew me in is the influx of hipsters lounging outside the store; they have tea almost every night! Tea and pizza is a bizarre food pairing but interesting.

They’re never open when I go. I live far, I DO travel for vegan pizza. I’ve tried after 2pm twice. After 9pm once… Do I just have horrible timing? The website should reflect the proper opening time. Note: I had the pizza once(friend ordered to his home) it was okay.

After a long Manhattan day, I was happy to find a super affordable pizza place that was vegetarian/vegan and near my crash spot. They did a solid job melting the Daiya cheese and I was stoked to have such a variety to choose from. Now I can have NYC pizza all the time.

Pizza is above average, the staff is sweet and delivery was fast. I ordered a grandma pie with pepperoni to find out my pepperoni was FAKE! I wish someone had mentioned when I ordered that it was a non-meat establishment. Not a big deal I will still order again the pizza is great.

Come with no judgements. This is a tiny hole in the wall spot serves some decent pizza to the after hours crowd as well as a slew of musicians heading to work. They generally have a limited selection of classic cheese, white, grand-ma(a MUST) and also garlic knots on display. It’s my option over Popeye’s and when the Mexican food truck isn’t on location across the street.

Finding a decent pizza in New York is anything but easy. No I’ m not being supponent, I’m italian, and really demanding when talking about pizza. I walked by Norbert’s many times, and finally gave him a try a night when I was starving, my fridge was empty and wanted to get home as fast as possibile with dinner. I ordered just one slice of regular, for two very honest dollars. While waiting the very welcoming and smiling guy to warm my slice, I noticed that they have an atm. Wait, is out of order. They have soda dispenser. It’s out of order too. The place is small and right under the tracks of the J M Z trains subway, really New York style. I walked home with my slice, that was a little greasy but damn unexpectedly good, better than the average of american pizza in the city. Maybe because I was starving, but I don’t think so. When then I had a yogurth because still hungry I regretted not having bought at least three slices. Next time. #buona#happy##
