Pearl River Laundromat

Their wash/​dry/​fold service is the cheapest in the neighborhood and always consistently good. I just wish they offered delivery and pickup.

Cheap laundromat and drop off service. No matter what time I dropped off my laundry I was always told to pick it up whenever I want on the next day. I don’t know how they do it but they are pretty fast and very friendly too.

I love the family who runs this laundromat. It is on the dumpy side, it is small, there is one bench that’s usually taken up by some loudass kid spewing his yoohoo all over the place, and there is only one kind of shoddy folding table, but you know what?
this place has character. I like that everything is done through personal interaction. i like that my roommate always forgets her laundry there and they put it aside for her until she remembers she left it there.
i like that i can bring in four thousand pennies and the kind gentleman will sit with me and count them out so i can get quarters.
i just LIKE it there, and i kind of look forward to doing my laundry because no matter what, i know i’m going to be taken care of.
even if the annoying neighbourhood kids are making messes and their moms don’t care.
the important thing is, the people who run this place are humble, patient, honest, and kind.
exactly the kind of folk i want to give my business to.
