Went there on a Groupon. Was greetly warmly by the receptionist, Wanda. She gave me some forms to fill out. One of the forms asked how satisfied I was about my teeth/smile. I said I was pretty happy with them. All the staff members there were very friendly. Had about a 15 – 20 minute wait. The dental hygienist, Jacky, did a great job on cleaning my teeth. She was very patient, and had a gentle hand. Glad I had her taking care of me! I spoke to the Dentist twice. Seems like a nice guy; he wasn’t pushy about trying to sell me stuff. I’d go back there again.

Totally Agree with Jaci H. — she really summed it up. The woman at the front desk was very rude. That’s all I’m going to say even though there is a long drawn out story about what happened. Then on my second visit there was another older woman that was so nice. The dentist was good. He did smell a little bit like cigarettes but it didn’t bother me. They only do white fillings. But so far I haven’t had any sensitivity. Which I usually do. The dental hygienist was so sweet! If you don’t LOVE your smile be prepared to be sold some sort of whitening system as well as Invisalign. Kind of annoying.

Overall, it was an okay experience. I didn’t have too many expectations and went in for a general check-up and cleaning. I had a groupon and knew that it was a risk since businesses that use that service are trying to draw in new customers. I figured if it was a fabulous experience, I would have found a new dentist to go to regularly. The staff was polite and professional. The office was clean and convenient. I was able to make an appointment without any real issue and didn’t have to wait long. Right away I noticed that it was super salesy — which is fine, I understand that this is a business. They had me fill out a questionnaire about how happy I am with my smile. It was pretty silly and seemed like a tactic to make the average person feel self conscious about their teeth. The dental hygienist sat me down and prepped me for Xrays and the cleaning. I found it really weird that they take photos of you for«their records.» I had to sit there in the chair while they snapped a portrait of me, which ended up looking like a prison photo and then all these weird pics of my teeth with mirrors inside my mouth. I understand that this might be necessary if I’m doing a ton of work, but I“m there for a cleaning — it took longer to prep me for the cleaning then it did to clean my teeth. I forget the name of the woman who took care of me, but she was really great. She did a good job on my teeth, was a gentle as possible and made the experience pleasant(for a cleaning). If you’re going for a cleaning, I think this place is just fine. I don’t know what they normally charge, but I was very satisfied with the results. Then the dentist came in — this is where things got awkward. I know his time must be very precious, so he was only there for a few minutes. I’ll be honest, I didn’t like him and I think he was trying to scare me into some unnecessary surgery to remove my wisdom teeth. I was very complacent with the whole situation, which he probably noticed and didn’t appreciate. Perhaps he was genuinely concerned with the well-being of my teeth, but I really didn’t get that vibe from him. He was actually a bit mean about everything and I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there. In the end I have to get a cavity filled, but I’ll take my business elsewhere. Look — if you’re going to have a groupon available for people, don’t be smug when they’re only interested in getting their teeth cleaned and not forking over thousands of dollars for unnecessary surgeries. Even if I did need surgery, I would certainly get a second opinion. As for the woman who cleaned my teeth — thank you. I truly appreciated your professionalism.

Dr. Peritore looks exactly like Bob Fossil from the Mighty Boosh! Fortunately he knows much more about teeth than Fossil ever knew about zoo animals. I agree with other reviewers regarding his professionalism and courtesy. I thought it was cool that he asked what I wanted/needed before taking the first peek inside my mouth. Also, even though it’s hard to miss the fact that he does a brisk business in cosmetic dentistry, getting my teeth Hollywood white is a low priority for me and I told him so. This was well received without the slightest bit of salesmanship or manipulation. No one fussed at me for drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes, or for my failings in the brushing/flossing dept.(Dr. P euphemistically described my oral hygiene habits as «laid back»). I was encouraged to get an oral cancer screening to the tune of $ 55(insurance doesn’t cover). I went for it, and the results were negative. My post-visit research indicates that this procedure is a bit controversial in terms of its value, but I’d never had it done before and thought it wise to err on the safe side. The staff is friendly and nice, and they got me in really quickly(same day I called). 2 thumbs up for Dr. P. and crew.

I chose this place based on their website, because they promised me «pain free» dental work. I’ll admit it… I’m a wuss. I hate the dentist’s office, I hate them poking around in my mouth, I hate them judging me about my(poor) flossing habits. Last year my dentist announced that I needed a root canal & just like that, I broke up with him & never went back. I returned just a few hours ago from Dr. Peritore’s office with a partial root canal that was performed completely unbeknownst to me! WHAT? I thought that he was just cleaning the tooth in question, prepping me for my worst nightmare at a later date. He started pressing around my gums & soon after– half of my face went numb. I asked if he had given me Novocain & he admitted that he had. «It’s justht not pothiblle,» I argued quite slovenly. Oh, but he had. Soon after he had the dead nerve out & I had no friggin’ idea. That’s pretty amazing coming from someone that nearly cried during her last set of gum injections. Just do it. Your teeth are only going to get worse if you don’t start fixing them today & this guy is delivering exactly what he promises. Excellent choice for scaredy cats!
