CANNOT GET NEW MEMBER FOOD PRICING — CHARGED MORE THAN AUTHORIZED FOR MEMBERSHIP.
I saw a «new member» pricing offer for Royal Canin prescription cat food at $ 12 for 6.6 bag, far less than store price. Authorized $ 50 annual membership. Food price increased to $ 32/​bag. Credit card was charged $ 54.51 for membership fee. Sent email to
immediately after seeing I couldn’t get advertised price — and asking how to submit pet food rx. Rec’d automated reply promising contact within 24 hours. 3 days, and 3 emails later, I still have no response from the vendor. I filed a false advertising, and false charges, complaints with FTC and BBB but assume my money is long gone.

if you order for a «good price», they have signed you up for a membership for additional $ 50 per year.
I never sign up for memberships to get discounts… I was able to cancel the membership and pay a premium for my pet meds. buyer beware. will not order from them again

Great service. Got it for my cat. Now instead of rushing over to the vet every time I think something is wrong, I can call the hotline first and get a professional opinion. Still need to go to the vet sometimes, but not over every little thing!
Also the savings on meds are out of this world. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would buy again.

i ordered trifexis for our dog & i was billed for the trifexis & 54.38 for membership. I called the company & spoke with the supervisor, he was adamant about not returning my membership money & told me the law says medication can not be returned.
They were also devious in the way they billed me, pet plus for 54.38 & vets first for the medication. i only received a billing slip from vets first.

Dealing with PetPlus has overall been the most frustrating on-​line retail experience of my life. I do save money on an expensive med that my dog needs to take; otherwise, I would drop PetPlus in a heartbeat. Three times a computer glitch caused me to be charged 2,300.00 for an order that should have cost 90.00. If it had happened once or even twice, I could have let it go, but three times was a bit much. Each time it happened, the people at customer service, while incredibly polite, were unsure how to problem-​solve and, until I got pushy about it, would only assure me that the 2,300.00 would be refunded to my account within the next few days, as the person who would deal with that sort of thing was not in today or might not be available. After making it clear that I needed the money refunded immediately, I was able to get this accomplished, but I had to be very assertive, and in one case, I had to call back a second time. I never received any sort of apology, offer for some additional money back, etc., for the trouble of having my bank account explode. It was all quite surreal. After the third time this happened, I wrote to PetPlus to let them know that I would write a negative review on Unilocal,and that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau if it happened again. At this point, a woman named Kelli wrote back to me and said she was sorry about the incidents, and to contact her directly the next time I ordered, at which point she would send our next prescription free. The next time we tried to order, my wife and I spent a day trying to reach her by phone and email. We were repeatedly put on hold for as much as 45 minutes with no success, and she never returned our any of our email or messages. Also, although I was told by customer service that for mail orders prescriptions the company would call my vet, and although when you order there is a drop-​down menu in which you can indicate the company should call your vet for the script, you in fact have to mail in an original script from your vet in order to have the prescription filled. I learned this after waiting for several days following an order, then checking to call on the status. Because it would have taken so long to get the med at that point, I had to do in-​store pick-​up and paid an extra 25.00 as a result. The last time I ordered, I was charged the correct amount for the most essential prescription. However, I noticed that the computer glitch was still happening with our other script, which would have resulted in another 1000.00 plus overcharge, so I did not order it. I attempted to call customer service and was on perpetual hold, when finally I gave up. If you need an expensive med, it may be worth dealing with this company. However, if you are just purchasing heart worm or other routine meds, you can get just as good a deal elsewhere. I just ordered a generic Heart Guard med from Pet Shed for less than I would have paid to PetPlus, minus the membership fee and minus the nightmarish customer service.

I cannot even begin to tell you the tremendous amount of savings I’ve gotten the past year with my PetPlus plan for my fur baby Nathan. Not only am I able to get his flea and tick medication at wholesale prices, I can get prescription items like his Rimadyl too! It’s a fraction of what my vet charges me. Now Nathan can be happy and healthy with my budget, thank you PetPlus! Five paws up!

Been a member for almost 3 months and compared to the prices I’d be paying getting my dog’s medication directly from the vet– this has saved me over $ 200 already! What’s especially great is the option to pick up the prescription the same day right after I place the order online «in store» which means any one of the bazillion CVS/​Walgreens/​Rite-​Aids, you just bring your pet’s prescription with you to the pharmacy.

After receiving an email offering a nice discount for medications, I decided to give it a try. My total bill indicated that the amount due was $ 43 and some change. Five days later my debit card is charge $ 97.00. When I called to find out what this was all about I was told that the extra charge was for a membership fee, which was not indicated anywhere on my invoice. In addition, my pets medication has not been sent yet because my vet. has not given authorization. Two issues here: a membership fee which was not indicated on the invoice. (2) charged for perscription medication which was not approved by my vet, therefore, not sent. After hearing this I canceled the entire order. They said I would received a refund after the paperwork is done, maybe 10 days or so. Beware!

This company is AWESOME! The first of it’s kind. Save tons of money on your pet’s prescriptions, and either order them online or pick them up at a pharmacy. Highly recommend.
