Pizza Time

Best (kosher) pizza in Brooklyn! The guys there are also super nice! Get a grandma slice, crazy good!

They don’t except credit cards! Also completely unprofessional. I understand is just a pizza store but still just a little professionalism wouldn’t hurt.

While it’s no Di Fara, this spot has a great slice none the less, for a hop skip n a jump down the block, a buck less, and shorter wait. Good stuff.

Basic. Was better before turned kosher. Definitely cheaper than difara’s down the block.

I tried this place for the first time, and I know I will be back and have their Pizza again! Just plan large cheese Pie, did the job. For me this is the only way to test a new location for Pizza. They definitely passed the test. The Pizza has taste, which is the first thing I am looking for in a Pizza. For me there were way too many children screaming and running around, but I guess that just a good sign. So they will see me again, just not at the conventional hours…

I work in the neighborhood so if I can’t run to my favorite places, and if the line at Di Fara is too long, I come here. I guess if you only eat Kosher this is one of the better Kosher places. You cannot get sausage or pepperoni on your pizza because they do not mix dairy and meat together. Like I said its pretty good but if you’re not restricted by religious laws, Brooklyn still is home to the best Italian restaurants and pizza joints.

Yum! The staff was helpful with suggestions. My children gobbled up their specialty pizzas. Innovative slices served fast and hot. Very clean. After going and walking out of Benny’s I was grateful to find this place.
My only complaint is that they only take cash.

pretty tasteless in my opinion but if you’re on Avenue J with limited time, I wouldn’t discourage stopping in. personally I like it when people serve pasta on pizza, and that’s available here. that many carbs isn’t for everyone, but hey, life’s short, right?

I came in asking for a cheeseless vegetable slice. No slices available, but they had the same one in square form. I’m not hard to please, so that was okay with me. My friends got a large cheese pie. I liked that my square was overloaded with vegetables and that the sturdy crunchy crust held up to my expectations. My friends said the cheese pizza was decent. We left as soon as a herd of kids came in. This has nothing to do with the restaurant, but many others may feel uncomfortable with kids running around and bumping into people with parents that (more often than not) do nothing about it to discipline their kids… but that’s another story for another time.

The place is ugly. The prices are high. There is no reason to eat here unless every other place is closed.
Pizza in New York it’s all the same pizza! Come down people!

Mediocre pizza. The square is ok. But this place caters to the Jewish community mostly.

What an amazing place! I went the other day with my wife and daughter, there were 2 little girls waiting on line to pick up a pie. The owner saw that they were too short to be seen behind the counter. He went around and told them to stick tight and the pie will be on its way. Keep up the great work.

Way better than I thought this would be. Grabbed a slice here instead after I waited too long at Di Fara

PT is da bomb!!! A must try, oozy, gooey wooooey, delicious slice. Hits the spot. The pesto spaghetti is great as well!

I came in here for a late lunch meeting. The pizza was rather good. The only issue I had was I happened to come at a time when they were out of regular pizza… really?!

DiFara was closed. Oy.
Pizza Time is among a little neighborhood of shops and restaurants catering to the large Hasidic Jewish population. We enjoyed this area — very safe and interesting part of Brooklyn. The women are dressed very modestly and we were happy that we didn’t stand out too much with our jeans and t-​shirts. It mush have been a school day because the streets and shops were filled with adolescents.
Anyway. We were tired, hot, and starved. Pizza Time was jammed packed. We got a look of the New York style pizza and were impressed — everything was vegetarian.
We each got a slice of spinach and ricotta and split a salad built to my specifications. When another customer overheard us enjoying our food, he approached our table and told us that he eats here often.
He said the owners are married, and that one is Italian and one is Jewish. They combined forces and offer 100% vegetarian pizza that is kosher.
Closed Saturday. Worth a try!

Pizza is very good. Fries are the frozen type. No Credit Cards and they do the math in their head. Time to take advantage of 21^st century technology!

Not the best Kosher pizza I have eaten. The pizza has too much bread, and not enough cheese! But if I am around the Avenue J neighborhood, and SUPER desperate to eat a pizza because damn Di Fara’s (always) has an insane line, and all the pizzerias are Kosher and not that tasty. then I come to Pizza Time. I guess I have no choice but to suck it up. Just wish I could get a decently good quality pizza (besides Di Fara’s) around the neighborhood!
