This is an overpriced supermarket. They think they are better then Shoprite. They are not. My friends don’t get ripped off –head over to shop right

Pomegranate! Well, well. Before Pomegranate existed, going grocery shopping was a pain in the ass. Seriously. Pomegranate makes going to the grocery a pleasure, an outing, a fun activity. Cleanliness in a grocery is a big deal and they do not fall short. Floors are always sparkly and produce is amazing, clean and shiny. I love that they have cut up fruits on site too. They have a super large takeout with phenomenal chickens, fish, meats. Lots of side dishes. Butcher and Fishmonger on site. And really the best part of it all is that the isles are sooo wide! There’s no crazy trolley traffic. Service is top notch. There are always employees ready and willing to help. They are on the pricier side! BUTABSOLUTELYWORTHIT!

Great store. Stocks every kosher food possible. This past week an employee who was stocking the dried fruit for holiday offered to check the price for me. $ 20 for a nice platter is decent, so I went ahead. Pomegranate usually has short lines, though it’s a bit pricy, so I only purchase speciality items. I can always count on them having ripe avocado and bananas. Also, try their rainbow cake — it’s to die for! Employees here are ALL very nice. Lines are short during the day, but can get crazy on Thursday night and Friday afternoon.

Pretty definitive kosher grocery. The take out section is what brings the crowds. be prepared to push your way through 10 – 15 people to finally get your order in. The travel meals are excellent — they prepare and pack everything for you, double wrapped! Overall, recommended, if you are willing to spend the extra 15−20% upcharge on most items.

Customer service has declined. Old managers disappear one by one and new ones don’t know your name. Came for an early morning shop and items not yet ready in bakery showcase and service reps don’t tell the truth. Like the store but has serious decline in service

I didn’t expect to like Pomegranate. It is a kosher supermarket. To me that means really high prices and aloof service. That’s not the case at Pomegranate. Firstly, yes the prices are high; however the quality makes it worth it. I go in once a week and buy 3 pieces of precooked Salmon. It runs about $ 30 to $ 35. I thought about it, I recently went to a large chain quick service restaurant also with a fruit in its name, and ordered the Salmon. I received a small piece with sides and it was close to $ 20 with sides. For the money, I received big honking pieces of Salmon and I DIDNOTHAVETOCOOKIT! This is a great specialty supermarket. Come here if you want things you cannot find elsewhere.

I parked in their valet parking last week and they damaged my car! Very upset and all I was told was that it’s very busy on Fridays they can’t check the cameras and that the cameras are too small to even see!

The meat and prepared food looked amazing. I definitely paid out the nose for basic food items. Only go if you absolutely have to. There’s not much else near by however so I get it.

Pomegranate is the go to place for hi end kosher shopper. They have amazing deli counter, cheeses from around the world, cut up fruits and vegetables. The prices are a bit expensive. Will usually shop for holidays or parties.

yes, they’re extremely expensive, but this kosher superstore has my heart. the food is excellent quality. they even make cheese on premises(I recommend the kind with jalapeños) their produce is super fresh, and I love their baked goods. if you want good rugelach, and who doesn’t, look no further. just watch your wallet.

Besides the immense traffic getting there– expect to park on the street. The lot is always full and cars are always double parked. However for a kosher supermarket it is very clean and beautiful. They have a huge selection if prepared salads, each one is better than the next. The prepared foods are tasty as well. The regular meat is very well cleaned by far the best ive seen in brooklyn, but be prepared to overpay. The store is very expensive.

Pomegranite! Best supermarket ever. Pricey, but totally worth it. they are the ONLY, and I repeat ONLY kosher supermarket in brooklyn, whose butchers will clean chicken wings super extra clean 2 hours before the Super Bowl. I know that cuz I called literally every kosher supermarket, mini market, and butcher in the area at around 4:00 on Superbowl Sunday. Plus they wrapped them marinating in sauce for me(as requested), so all I had to do was bake-em!

The food is overpriced and they asked for an ID and my phone number if I wanted to pay any other way than cash. For security purposes? Sounds like a bunch of pretentious managers. With no social skills.

I had Pomegranate cater a work lunch for 12 – 15 people and it came with a very expensive price tag of $ 560.00! The food was mediocre at best. The sushi was okay, the small, $ 80 cheese platter was good(but not worth the money), and the fruit platter was nice, but, again, it was small and cost $ 80.00. They charged me for plates, cutlery, and TOOTHPICKS! The reason for the two stars is because of Pom’s customer service, or, lack thereof. I had an issue and tried to contact them a half a dozen times and never once got a call back or my issue resolved. They were extremely rude and unresponsive. If you’re going to charge THAT much for average food, the least you can do is provide good customer service. On another note, the cake I ordered there was delicious, for a non-dairy cake. That was the only thing I was impressed with. Will never use them for catering again, nor will I go to the store.

Grocery heaven. The best kosher spot in town no question. I love shopping here, they have a wide selection of fruit veggies meat and any produceyou can think of. Dairy products are always fresh never out dated. They have free parking which is a major plus, and great customer service. It is true that this place is more expensive then most kosher places in Brooklyn, but then again you get what you pay for, well worth the extra$$$

A shrine to food! Seriously, the produce is spectacular and even though I am a vegetarian I have to admit the meat case is gorgeous and definitely draws a crowd. The reason for 4 stars is I would like to see some more whole-grain pastas and breads so it could be one-stop shopping. Over-all though a great store that is fun to bring people to for the first time. Kudos to the entire aisle of work/lunch appropriate snack type items.

If you decide to keep kosher and you’re looking for some high-end prepared food, this grocery store can beat hands-down most kosher restaurants. However, if you keep kosher, you know that it’s far more expensive than non-kosher diets. Expect to pay 100%-500% premiums over non-kosher food and sometimes triple other kosher stores. As far as the food goes, it was beautiful to the eye and pleasing to the senses. From the beautifully displayed sushi, to the lamb lollipops, to the stuffed chicken legs with shallots, mushrooms and other tasty vittles. As you walk in, I was greeted by a Purim exhibit. It was really pretty cool! It reminded me of what Christians do around Christmas for the Nativity scenes. Although this grocery store has it’s own parking lot, it is small and quite packed. It’s also quite difficult to find street parking in the area. Lastly, both the store and the area is quite congested with foot and car traffic. Despite the super high price(think double or more of Whole Foods), this place was PACKED and they had box upon box of groceries ready to be delivered. This place is super popular for the kosher community and I am sure they are really glad that they have it. It truly is a gem in a Kosher world where most restaurants and grocery stores serve blandish or outlandish food. This venue is a notable exception to that rule.

That is a great place for grocery shopping, but the prices!!! OMG, i could but double in other places. The place look very nice and clean, and the staff are very helpful. They have many Kosher products, and products that are being imported from Israel. I can say that this is one of the most enjoyable places to do grocery shopping, but again, the prices are just too high. Go there, if you want a pleasant shopping experience, and if you have extra money ;)
